My Husband was stationed in Germany for several years We were out in Texas to visit Lakewood for my anniversary gift back in August and just happen to the liquor store because it look like a big warehouse and he walked by this German beer that he had when he was stationed in Germany 1516-20 years ago. so we bought a few hacked then and I knew I was coming back the first of the year to go back to Lakewood for the anointing service and picked up four more six packs they have several different locations and that I didn't know we ended up actually at the wrong location and I knew immediately when we pulled in the parking like that. this was not the right location. I told my daughter I said I remember being off the highway but this location had a grocery store. Best lemon bars the greatest truffles all types of meat and cheese dairy products along with all the alcohol that the other location has. well they only had one six pack. so nice gentleman. black guy with braids called over to the other store and he said he worked in it and secured me some more six packs happen. put them to the side and make sure that they had them before I drove. at least it was a good 30 minutes. crosstown this place is wonderful. it's one of these. we've got the off the beat pass type alcohols beers, cut Waters ginger beer mixes. everything that you need for your libation spirits jubilation they've got it. this is a must visit place. I wish we had one hear at home in Jackson, Mississippi

Wow! So much for anyone who drinks - or doesn’t. An amazing cheese selection. We stocked up on meats and accoutrements. Make sure to start your shopping by placing your food made to order at the deli. There a place to sit and eat at the front by cash registers. You can place your big catering orders and they pull it for you. Otherwise, just peruse the store and realize all the things you didn’t know you needed. Of course, I picked the first time to go when a rap star was there – I’m not sure if they normally have that much police presence.

Absolutely fabulous service! I’m having my baby shower on Saturday and had a list of different liquors I needed to buy. I saw an employee (Courvisier) as he was clocking in, told him my list and he IMMEDIATELY went into action! He was very knowledgeable on the different brands/rums I was looking for, and offered budget friendly options too! I was so excited at how quickly I was in and out of the store, LESS THAN 5 MINUTES! I spoke with the Manager, Matthew, and told him about his excellent employee. The manager was also very nice and kind to me. At the register I was greeted by a cashier by the name of Alana who greated me with “Hello there gorgeous”, and I became even MORE excited! Being almost 8 months pregnant I’m NOT feeling gorgeous, and am very much feeling like a whale, so her greeting alone MADE MY DAY! Courvisier, Alana & Matthew are amazing! This is the BEST Specs EVER!!

Let me tell you, I love going to specs to get my lunch it is honesty the best burgers I have ever had tasted but as of recently these last 2 times I went on 2 different weeks, I order a burger and fries as usual but these last 2 times the fries were not in the box, I cannot open the box until I pay for it so I have no idea if their in there as I ordered or not, I am highly disappointed because I pay for the fries and not receive them, and I feel like their should be a better way to check it without ruining the price tags, this may be my last burger from here if this continues.

It's so big,i have never see anything like this. Staffs were friendly and approachable. I would love to work there part-time. I'm great with customer service.

I love going to Spec's for lunch. The food is always fresh . I met this lady by the name of Ms. Barbara and she is a very sweet person who works in Finer Foods. I just love her and everything in the store!

This was an unexpected visit. I didn't know this was the corporate store. The very first one!!! There is a bakery, a deli, a grocery area, several tasting stations, and they were even making fresh mozzarella. It was such a surprise. I also got to meet the owner of all the Specs. She was so nice. This place was efficient and friendly.

The Smith Street location is iconic it's been there as long as I can remember I will say prices are better at a Total wine but there isn't really one near downtown so. You can also pick up a sandwich they're decent fair prices if you need a quick bite
