I had high expectations from watching a reels video so I brought my friends last night (late Feb). What’s good: location, plenty of parking space, and service. For the food part, the boiled crawfish was not impressive at all. We ordered 5 pounds. Besides the sizes were tiny which we understand that it’s still kind of early in the season, there were at least 20 dead crawfish all with gross black dirt and rotten juices. That made us think the rotten juices ruined the whole boil. It’s perfectly ok if we cross a couple but a couple dozens were too much in two buckets. The corns and potatoes were flavorless bc they’re not boiled with the crawfish. The shrimp gumbo came with the Po-Boy had unpleasant smells from the shrimp. The gumbo shrimps were squishy and stinky. There was a 30-min line at 7pm, and we thought they could do a better job.

I really enjoyed the seasoned crawfish it was really good and cooked well to perfection I vibe was definitely awesome...I liked the collection of college helmets but best of all was the workers who showed great hospitality food is definitely a must here!!!

It’s upbeat and noisy, plays some New Orleans zydeco music along with other upbeat music. The food is delicious and definitely reminds me of New Orleans! The staff is very attentive and nice!

I ordered the large boil, and it might have been the best crab I have ever had! The shrimp tasted wonderful and the sausage was cooked perfectly. The waiter we had was amazing, she even told me how to use the shell cracker! Anyone who tells you this isn’t good is lying to you!

My experience was very disappointing due to the lack of service. We arrived before 7 PM, just ahead of happy hour, and were not acknowledged for nearly an hour. It wasn’t until around 7:30 PM that we had to personally get the manager involved just to have someone come take our order. From there, the experience only continued to go downhill. Throughout the entire evening, no one checked on our table—not for water, refills, or anything else. Meanwhile, other tables around us were being serviced regularly, which made the situation even more frustrating and confusing. It felt like our table was completely overlooked. When it came time to leave, we again had to call the manager just to receive our bill. We were there from before 7 PM until after 9 PM, which is unacceptable given the level of service we received. To the manager’s credit, she did adjust the bill after I expressed my concerns, which I appreciated. However, that doesn’t make up for the overall experience. As for the food, it was just okay. The oysters were really good, but everything else came out lukewarm instead of hot. Unfortunately, due to the poor service, I would not return anytime soon.

Raging Cajun was a surprise stop in Houston for me. I usually don't eat Cajun food outside of Louisiana....I would go back to Ragin Cajun. We had shrimp po boys, bread pudding and cheese cake. Everything was good. The building has plenty of tables to serve the lunch and dinner rush.

Food was not great or good but Instead, average at best. Chicken looked dry, oysters did not impress, crab claws had a decent flavor. Fried crawfish might as well been bought out your local frozen food department at your worst grocery store. Crawfish looked decent but I did not have them. The et toufe was horrible. Can’t say anything good about it. I tried using all the sauces and seasoning they provide for you but it was not working. If you can’t smell them cooking crawfish then it’s not going to be good. Portions were decent but presentation was poor. The $5 Mamosa was a joke. Half of a wine glass. Embarrassing to say the least. Atmosphere is Cajun backwoods country vibe. Not horrible but a mix of music would be good. Plenty of seating and orders came out pretty quick. Service was on point. No unattended tables. Waitstaff were prompt. Overall. I remember now why I haven’t been here in over a decade. Not my cup of tea. I desire flavor in my food, a bit of a more diverse music selection and an overall bang for my buck when deciding on a Cajun restaurant. May have to rely on BBs Cajun kitchen or elsewhere.

Oh man, I hate leaving this bad of a review. But this was honestly the worst crawfish I’ve ever had. It was so overcooked we couldn’t get any of them out, and there was literally no juice to the crawfish at all. They tasted dirty or something and were tiny on top of that. Just sad. Almost $50 for 3 lbs corn, sausage, and potato. I threw it out and I’m devastated.
