I am a pizza snob, and have several years of pizza making experience, so I wouldnt give a good rating unless I mean it. This is a great pizza. The crust isnt flat like you will find with some neopolitan pizza places. Definitely worth a visit!

Visitor notes
Visited Pizaro’s Pizza Napoletana while in Houston. The atmosphere was casual and lively and the service was friendly and efficient. Growing up and still spending half my life near Toronto — one of the largest Italian communities outside of Italy and home to one of the most high-ranking food scenes in the world — it can sometimes be a bit of a struggle finding great pizza in the South. Well, I finally found one in Houston. We tried a few of their New York–style pizzas, cooked in wood-fired Neapolitan ovens, which gave the crust that beautiful leopard-spotted char. We have a tradition of resting the pizza box on the hood of the car and trying a slice while it’s still piping hot — and this one passed the test. The golden-brown bottom had a satisfying crunch, the vibrant tomato base balanced natural sweetness, and the savory cheese pulled everything together nicely. Overall, a great spot for locals and absolutely worth a return visit. Saluti
Great food and amazing service! We ordered the “Stuffed” and the “Billy Goat” We didn’t even notice that the Billy Goat had meat on it and the owner without any hesitation remade it without the meat, and drizzled fresh hot honey RIGHT at the table. Then they brought the sauce that goes on top of the “Stuffed” when I requested more of it. Some of the BEST sauce I’ve had. And on top of the owner with his awesome customer service, the staff member Esperanza was the absolute sweetest. She apologized personally to us after and talked to us to make sure everything tasted good and up to our standards. You don’t get customer service like this everyday. First time here, we will definitely be back again.
Really enjoyed the pizza here. Came here for dinner with my wife and had a half pepperoni and half NY Margherita. It was great! The crust was crispy, the cheese was stretchy and the toppings were very fresh. Highly recommend this spot
Incredible Neapolitan-style pizza. I’d actually argue it’s better than Gypsy Poet. While it comes at a higher price point, you’re paying for a nicer atmosphere and elevated food quality. Everything was executed perfectly—from the airy crust and flavorful dough to the incredible sauce. A must try for serious pizza lovers.
I had been wanting to come for the Detroit style pizza for a while and was not disappointed! We ordered the 8 mile detroit style and added onions, bell peppers and crimini mushrooms, and we had the dumbo new york style. So delicious!!
One of my favorite pizza spots! The pizza is always cooked to perfection and the slices are easily foldable. They have a seasonal menu’s that are really unique. The Dubai cannoli they have this month is a MUST order.
Absolutely had such a delightful, flavorful, pleasant time here!! I had a spritz, pizza and the most amazing sandwhich with cheese imported from Italy!! Still thinking about the crunch of the bread YUM!!!I am a HUGE crust girl, and this crust was crunchy but perfect amount of dough and had that brick oven taste LOVE LOVE LOVE the pizza! We even had a tuna pizza, who would have thought that, but DEFINITELY MUST TRY, I had a feta cheese strawberry salad and it was SO FRESH, made me feel so by the beach in summer mood! Can’t wait to go back and definitely signing up for a cooking class!
