My spouse and I had been to MAD before, but it had been a while. This Easter brunch reminded us exactly why we like coming back. First, the atmosphere and the quality of service were excellent. Our server, D. Rivas, was outstanding from start to finish. He was attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better. Even though it was a special Easter brunch menu, all of the options were excellent. We ordered the Pulpo, Empanadillas, Steak & Eggs, Paella Valencia, Huevos Voladores, and Basque Cheesecake. For me, the Pulpo was exactly what I hoped for. As a first-generation immigrant from Spain, with family roots in Galicia, dishes like pulpo a la gallega always feel personal, and this one reminded me of home. The Steak & Eggs was excellent, and the fries were top notch. The Paella Valencia, even without seafood, was also perfect. The chicken was cooked beautifully and full of flavor. The highlight for me was dessert. I asked Rivas what he recommended, and he suggested the Huevos Voladores. That turned out to be the best choice. It was a perfect ending to the meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also excellent. The music featured Spanish artists I grew up listening to, which brought back great memories. Just as important, the volume was perfect. You could enjoy the music and still easily have a conversation with it in the background. Overall, this visit reminded us why MAD stands out. Great service, excellent food, and an atmosphere that feels lively without being overwhelming. We will definitely be back.

I had a phenomenal experience at MAD. Food was 10/10… and the dessert was unbelievable. We got the shrimp appetizer, the steak tartare, the hamachi and the tamahawk special. All were amazing. Not to mention the egg yolk illusionary dessert. Unbelievable. Not to mention, David was an amazing server!!! Great service!

I went here for lunch. The service here didn't seem up to par with the reputation. Upon arrival, I wasn't greeted right away. I didn't wait too long until she arrived to the front. She seemed to be helping clean up tables. I'm thinking they're understaffed and this brings down customer service. Even the dishes and napkin were poorly cleaned. I received a dirty plate and napkin. The place didn't even offer anything comped for this mistake or oversight. The place had really nice decor and looked like they had history behind the pieces. Even going to the bathroom was creative with mirrors and lighting on the way to the door. I liked that they had a place for your purse next to the table. I tried the ultimate croquetas which were crunchy and creamy. I really enjoyed these and would order them again. The next item i tried was the lobster roll. I felt like the bread was a little dry and too thick. It was too much bread for me, it took awhile to get to the lobster. The fries were crispy and were the perfect taste. I also tried one of their drinks and it was basically a margarita with a spicy kick. The last item I tried was conchillo iberico it had pork and eggs and a sweet sauce that pulled everything together.

Sophie was such an amazing server. Her personality was so upbeat and welcoming. The perfect person to help my husband I celebrate recreating our very first date at MAD five years ago. She truly enhanced our experience. The hamachi and prawns were delicious. The steak was prepared perfectly and the truffle fries were really good. The branzino on the other hand was cold and undercooked. That was quite disappointing. I'm not counting out the restaurant because my experience truly outshined one poorly made dish. just hope to have a 10/10 experience like the very first visit.

The only dish we like is one of the appetizers - the mussels are in generous portion and the source is savory. When we asked for more bread, the female server with black frame glasses said they charge additonal bread for 8 dollars. Not sure if it’s only the case for us but be aware if you really want more bread to pair with the source. And there is only one kind of bread they can offer. 👻 The duck breast paella is super salty. There are 6 pieces of thin sliced duck meat lying on the over seasoned rice. The burger is overcooked and not juicy at all. They messes up our bills with another table. - another bummer! The server (again, the female with black frame glasses) who messed up the bill seemed impatient and even held my hand to move my phone several angles to touch the post machine when the machine was not responding fast. - it’s very rude to customer who tipped you generously and willing to come back to fix the bills you messed up.

Had a wonderful experience dining here for my birthday! The server and the Chef accomodated all our needs and even incorporated one of our favorite dishes as part of our dining experience despite having a set holiday menu that evening. We appreciated the gesture very much!!

This Spanish restaurant was such a great find! The food was super tasty—everything felt fresh and full of flavor. Loved the vibe, it was lively but still cozy. The service was friendly and made us feel really comfortable. Definitely a spot I’d come back to with friends!

Had an amazing time at MAD, the food and drink menu is small but solid. At the begging my friend and I were a little skeptical but everything that we ordered kept getting better and better! It is a tapas restaurant so a variety of plates is a must. My favorite was the filet mignon and the pulpo. The drinks are as good as they are pretty! The place is beautiful with a crazy aesthetic vibe, great for pics.
