What a great experience we had! First of all, all I wanted was coconut cream cake but my nieces had the brownies and fudge, so I tried them too. They were all so delicious!! Oh my heart!! This is my favorite dessert place in town. Thank you for making the best desserts and wonderful service. This is one of the highlights of my vacation.

OMG!! This is the sweetest dessert place around. We went here to celebrate a friend's birthday and everyone was pleased with their dessert. We had, carrot cake, key lime & lemon berry to name a few. Don't 2nd guess it just go!!!! I'll be back!

We found this place 4 years ago in 2022 on a trip to Houston. I came back in March 2026 and had to find this place again. I found it and it did not disappoint! My parents got a whole Mom's Chocolate cake and I got a blueberry cheese cake. Both were absolutely delicious! We also got our dog one of their dog cookies. He had no complaints either

I had a wonderful experience! Brittany was so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to answer all of my questions and helped me choose exactly what I was looking for. Her excellent customer service made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be back, and I truly appreciate how kind and knowledgeable she was! I ordered my grandmother’s favorite cake- which is the Coconut cream cake! She helped me order the right size cake for the amount of guests I was feeding!! We loved the cake! We will be back

Love that this place closes late and has a variety of sweet treats to choose from (cake, ice cream, cookie, brownie, shakes etc) vs other dessert places typically only offer ice cream. Ordered the strawberry short cake which is big enough to share with someone or to save for later on. It was moist and had strawberry bits. Fudge brownie sundae was pretty standard, nothing special. Still giving 5 stars because my previous visits here have always been pleasant. Parking can be tight during peak time. I usually bring my out of town guests here to check out.

The Tres Leches is absolutely spectacular, perfectly moist, rich, and full of flavor. It quickly became one of my favorites. I love it and highly recommend it!

One star, specifically for the store manager. I believe his name was Mark. This is my first ever review. I don't do these and I've never been one to generate retail drama. But since there's no one else to report this to, I'll put it here. We've been coming to Dessert Gallery for at least a decade and have spent thousands of dollars here. We won't be coming back. On our last (and final) visit, we arrived at our scheduled time to pick up a $100 birthday cake. Mark, the store manager, quickly and passively let us know they didn't have the cake, and that he'd both called and emailed me that morning. I checked my phone. No missed calls. Checked my email. No emails. I calmly asked what number he'd called, at which point he became aggressive and rude. He wouldn't tell me what number he called and dismissed our frustration, just kept repeating that he had called. If I'd had a missed call or email, it would have been totally understandable. Things happen. No problem. Except there were no calls and we drove here specifically to pick up this cake on my wife's birthday and were met with nothing but hostility and zero compassion. Interesting, for a dessert place. Mark did eventually make a weak attempt to offer a different cake, but it was unenthusiastic, and by that point my wife and 6 year old daughter were already beyond upset and ready to leave. Sounds silly for a cake, but it was a big part of the day, which was very much harmed by one unhelpful, rude individual. The whole situation could have been handled so much better. The rest of the team seemed helpful and reasonable. I did finally get that email a few minutes after we walked out of the store. Ps. I verified my phone # on the order was correct! One last thing, while we were there trying to work this out, another customer walked in and got the same exact story, and also had no missed calls. As a business owner, patterns that quick to emerge are a clear issue.

Great coffee! Great cake! What more could one ask? The Dessert Gallery never disappoints. ♥️
