Amazing bartender Steve made spectacular, delicious drinks for a friend and I. I ordered a strawberry marg, made double shot but you can make adjustments if youd like. 2nd drink I ordered was a mojito made perfectly! Jazz/r&b music to complement the soothing atmosphere. Thank you for having us!

Dean’s: Haunted in Theory, Cocktails in Practice Advertise anything as haunted and I’ll show up with bells on, a credit card in hand, and absolutely zero skepticism. So naturally, Dean’s had me at haunted. The space itself is charming enough. Think speakeasy vibes, cozy booth seating, vintage couches, animal-print chairs, dim lighting, and the sort of atmosphere that whispers, “something spooky happened here once” while charging $16 for a cocktail. The drinks were decent, the ambiance was fun, and the crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves. As for the ghosts? Unfortunately, the only spirits I encountered were the ones being poured behind the bar. Don’t get me wrong—it’s a perfectly pleasant place for a drink. But if you’re hoping for spectral apparitions, mysterious cold spots, or a Victorian ghost named Eleanor dramatically appearing in a mirror, you may leave slightly disappointed. Still, I checked it off the list. And let’s be honest: if another bar claims to be haunted tomorrow, I’ll probably be there too. Four stars for atmosphere. Zero stars for paranormal participation. Five stars for successfully taking my money.

I had not been here since it reopened and i love the new curated drink menu! Tips are included in the total cost. The staff is still amazing and quick to get orders out even when packed. The DJ (Pablo Diablo or something) they had that night was playing great music my friends and i danced the entire time we were there. They had the FIFA game projecting on the wall making it a nice spot with no cover charge to watch the game. We planned to just stop by for a quick drink but the vibes were so great we stayed the entire time!

Had a really good time here. The staff was attentive, and the vibe was just right. Worth a visit!

Great place, chill atmosphere. Love it’s a old Iconic Houston store made into a bar. Front display windows of the old store are now couch patios. Great for people watching! You can even sit at a table in the old elevator shaft with closing door. Bathrooms take a little thinking one has a key one the door the other a lock for the key. Hint key goes into lock LOL Vintage couches set up in separate sitting areas against a beautiful cedar wall. Great Happy hour specials! Kareoke was great !

The vibes in here are immaculate!! I love the sultry red lighting and the cozy couches. They also had the most bumping music! The drinks however are pricey. It was $75 for four double vodka redbulls.

Very cool Lounge. Nice Ambience, fantastic drinks and the best bartender named E! Was my first time in Houston and this place started the night off perfectly!
