I have been taking my pets there for a couple of years. I moved clear across town but continue to make the 1.5 drive. They have great service from the front desk to the doctors to the tech staff.

Eduardo groomed my Border Collie’s hair perfectly! Lalo’s coat shines now after his bath and his nails along with his fur are trimmed neatly. In addition, they updated all of his annual vaccinations for a good price of $99 called dog pack premium. Lalo’s teeth look fresh and his ears are clean. Eduardo cleaned Lalo’s backside as well all for the price of $55 for his grooming fee. Thank you so much and we will be back next year!

Prices were very reasonable. Building is new, clean, spacious so clients with their pets can have space from others. Lots of staff who know their business. Enjoyable experience. I took in a feral male cat for neuter surgery.

Where do I start? The place might not look super fancy, and they don’t take appointments — it’s all walk-ins, kind of like the county animal hospital. But if you can look past that, you’ll find a real hidden gem right here in Alief! They offer all kinds of vet care at prices that are actually affordable, and they truly care about your pets. I’m so thankful for the team here — they’ve been amazing every time I’ve brought my fur babies in.

I made an appointment on Thursday to have my dog checked because he was crying and clearly in pain. The vet prescribed medication, but I had to wait almost three hours to be seen. Unfortunately, my dog continued to cry, so I had to return on Monday. I called ahead to explain that the medication was not working and that my dog was still in distress. I was told that I had to come to the clinic in person to schedule another appointment, even though I had already taken time off from work. When I returned, I was placed on a three-hour waiting list again and was informed that I would be charged again just to have my dog rechecked for the same issue. I do appreciate that the clinic is affordable, and the staff is generally nice, but this experience did not feel professional. When a dog is clearly suffering, there should be more urgency and care, not repeated long waits and extra charges for the same unresolved problem. I believe this clinic has potential, but they need to focus more on the well-being of the animals, not just the business side

The last vet I took my dog told me for two months my dog had bronchitis and kept repeating his medication without him getting any better, they even told me to put him down. I brought him to this vet, one look at his X-ray and they said he has fluid on his lungs, two injections and by that evening my dog was breathing better and since he has been on his medication he is doing so much better. I would whole heatedly recommend this place to everyone. Excellent and hard working staff and very professional. Also the price is as low as it gets, they used my dogs x-ray from another vet instead of making me do another one like other vets were asking me to do. 100 starts for these wonderful people.

Dr. Jose was amazing, he was very caring with my dog and I would definitely recommend him. In general, Alief Animal hospital has great pricing and the staff is great.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOUR PET IS SICK. Place is fine for grooming etc. If your pet is sick i highly don't recommend. Staff is rude, unprofessional, and undertrained. Went for a sick cat they x-rayed and said it may be cancer. So I paid 250 extra dollars to get a expert opinion just for them to say "not sure". Additionally, they sent the x-ray to the wrong email twice(they at least admitted to their mistake). Went to Memorial Cat Hospital they immediately identified the issue put my cat on life saving medication for around the same price.
