Hot Springs Mountain Tower

Its annoying there's a separate fee just to go up in the elevator, even with a park pass, but its a must do for the views and history placards on the lower observation level. Nice gift shop on the ground floor and plenty of parking in the lot. A short walk down to the pagoda overlook is free, but not nearly as good or with all the background info on the park.

The panoramic views from the Hot Springs Observation Tower are beautiful, but be aware that the admission (around $12–$17) feels a bit high given that the observation deck itself is fairly small. That said, the drive up is worth it—spotted tons of wildlife on the way! It’s also very convenient that they offer free parking right at the tower. A nice stop for a quick bird's-eye view of the park. Ciao🌸

Hot Springs Mountain Tower is a must-visit if you’re in the area. The views from the top are absolutely breathtaking, you can see the entire city, the surrounding mountains, and even Lake Hamilton in the distance. We drove up, but there are plenty of trails leading to the tower as well, which are incredibly scenic and beautiful for anyone who enjoys a hike. We also got to see parts of the abandoned buildings for the Army/Navy hospital. The tower itself is well maintained, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, making the visit even more enjoyable. The experience is perfect for taking photos, enjoying the scenery, or just soaking in the natural beauty of Hot Springs. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, the Mountain Tower is a fantastic spot to appreciate panoramic views and the area’s stunning landscape. Highly recommend stopping by.

Small park, but beautiful! All employees were knowledgeable and helpful. Facilities were clean. The views are amazing.from the top, along with an informative history display!

A must-see part of Hot Springs National Park. The top level is for taking in the views and the level right below it has an interesting museum that is a timeline of the history of the town. Great gift shop at the lower level.

Amazing 360 views showcasing the uniqueness of Hot Springs and surrounding area. Don't skip the enclosed view & gallery on the 2nd floor, below the main viewing area. Great gift shop and plenty of parking.

Even in the winter, I found this to be a great stop on my sightseeing tour of Hot Springs National Park. It was a mild day in January when I drove the winding lane up to the tower. The entrance is just up the block from the Arlington Hotel. There is a parking lot at the tower. You access the tower elevator through the gift shop. They honored my National Park Senior Lifetime pass for a dollar off admission. It is handicapped accessible and parking is free. The 216 foot tower offers 360 degree views from a climate controlled level, and an outdoor viewing platform one floor up.

The top view from this tower is amazing. The early morning breeze was so good. There's also a small museum on the second floor. Worth the stop if traveling into Arkansas.
