Hollywood Beach

The water felt amazing. Not too cold, not too hot. Just perfect. And the sun piercing through the clouds made the whole trip worth it. The waves were gentle and the breeze was lite. with a range of cafés, restaurants and deluxe resorts, Hollywood Beach is the principal strand in the heart of the Florida town of Hollywood. It runs alongside the busy Hollywood Broadwalk and offers all types of entertaining activities. Cycle along the promenade, taking in the sights of the sandy stretch and the Atlantic Ocean beyond it.

Hollywood Beach in Florida has quickly become one of my favorite beaches to visit, and it absolutely deserves a full 5/5 stars. The beach itself is really beautiful, with wide stretches of sand, clear ocean views, and a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for walking, sitting by the water, or just people‑watching along the Broadwalk. The famous Hollywood Beach Broadwalk runs for more than two miles along the ocean, and it is always full of life with families, couples, joggers, bikes, and people just enjoying the sun and the sea breeze. One of the things I like the most about Hollywood Beach is the huge choice of kiosks, bars, and restaurants all along the Broadwalk. You can find everything from quick snacks and ice cream to casual bars and sit‑down restaurants with outdoor seating and ocean views. It feels like there is always something to grab or try, whether you want a drink, a coffee, a full meal, or just a little treat while you walk. The atmosphere is fun but still relaxed, and it really gives you that classic Florida beach feeling. Another highlight for me is the Hollywood Beach bandshell (the band show area) right on the Broadwalk, where there is free live music in the evenings several nights a week. Listening to a live band while feeling the ocean breeze and hearing the waves in the background makes the place feel extra special and gives it a unique charm. The bandshell has seating and space to dance, and the music can range from rock and R&B to Latin and party music, which keeps the energy high without being too crazy. The whole area feels safe, welcoming, and very well maintained, with plenty of options for entertainment, food, and simple relaxation. Whether you come to walk, bike, eat, listen to music, or just sit on the sand and watch the water, Hollywood Beach offers a bit of everything in one place. It is a really lovely place to spend the day or evening, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area or looking for a nice beach day in South Florida.

Hollywood Beach is easily one of my favorite beaches in South Florida. The boardwalk alone makes it special and there is always something to do whether you want to grab food people watch or take a long walk by the water. The area is a little older but still very nice and well maintained. The stretch from the boardwalk to the sand is spacious so it never feels cramped and it is usually pretty quiet and relaxed. It can get busy around the holidays but it still keeps a laid back chill vibe. Perfectly nestled between Fort Lauderdale and the Miami beaches it is a great middle ground that offers the best of both without the chaos.

Fantastic place for a walk and to rest. You can enjoy the sun, do your exercises and grab the good bites. All in one place ! That’s a must

Me and my girlfriend preferred this beach over Miami Beach due to the overall cleanliness, calmness and just plain family friendly environment. And while it doesn't offer the same level of "entertainment" of the Beach down south, it does provide a great alternative to those who just want to go and really enjoy the beach! Super chill and one of my favorite beaches in Florida!

Beat beach ever! So much to do. Restaurants, music, and great beaches. And they have a amazing Broadwalk that goes forever. Bring your skates, bikes or running shoes!

Clean beach and not too crowded. I was here last year and fell in love with this place after a few stops at different beaches from Miami to West Palm Beach that were either too crowded or lots of seaweeds and gravels. Came back this year and it didn’t disappointed me. Quiet and calm beach in the morning even though there were beach cleaning and maintenance shoreline tractors working. The ocean was so calm and clear that I could stay floated like indoor swimming pool until after 2ish when strong waves and water level rose up and pulled seaweeds from shoreline☹️. Still love this peaceful and quiet place ♥️.
