Hi Everyone — Hope this review will be really helpful for all of you in terms of right set of quick info. & it will motivate me to write more such reviews If I know it’s helping broader community! We traveled around 2026’ March end in the weekend and there was no queue — rather entry was really smooth! Before we rate this place, quick note in terms of an interesting facts — it’s founded in 1989 & the Lion Habitat Ranch originally served as the private off-strip housing for the famous MGM Grand casino lions until the hotel exhibit closed in 2012, prompting the ranch to transform into an independent, public non-profit sanctuary. Parking (5/5) — Pretty easy to park. Ticketing booth (5/5) — Quick and easy. You can take online but offline is smooth too. Overall cleanliness (5/5) — Super clean and very comfortable. Shop (4/5) — There is a gift shop, it’s nice. Behavior of the staff can be little better. Overall staff behavior (5/5) — Excellent, very informative and explain with a smile. You can see Lion and they are feeding them, it was really interesting! What we liked the most — There is designated people who is taking you/your family pictures with Lion 🦁 at the back! Pl don’t forget to carry drinking water (preferably cold) if you are planning to visit in summer. Overall — We loved it ; must go 👍

This place is such a beautiful little lion habitat and sanctuary. The lions were mostly active when we were there. There’s also many different birds, an ostrich, and two emus. My son’s favorite was the emus and my daughter was loving all the lions. It’s the closest we have ever been to lions so they were pretty excited. The prices for admission were reasonable. Military and students are $18 each and my kids got it free with the purchase of adult admission. There’s also a small gift soft with many different souvenirs to choose from. I got two stickers, a reusable bag, a stuffed giraffe, and a giraffe puzzle. The prices were pretty cheap too. We loved coming here and enjoyed our time. We’ll definitely come back whenever we are back in the Las Vegas area.

What an amazing experience! My husband and I booked a behind the scenes tour for a Sunday at 9am, their first summer hours. It was just us and 1 other couple, so this felt very intimate, which made it feel even more special. This is a non-profit, so I think the cost of the tour is absolutely worth it! We also decided to add on lion feeding for the 2 of us, which took place at the end. During the tour, we made our way around and got so much information from Tyler. You could tell he truly loves what he does and the animals love him right back! The animals are very well taken care of, and have plenty of space for having previously been at the MGM. When we were prepping for the lion feeding after our tour, Tyler was kind enough to show us the fridges of food and how much they go through in a day, which was a lot! Of the lions you could choose from, we chose to feed Cheeto. She was beautiful and very nice! I think this place is great! They have different kinds of birds (flying and non) and tortoises. This is a great family friendly place as well. You learn a lot and get to see really cool animals pretty close! The parking lot is kind of small if you are there later in the day, so that is something to keep in mind when deciding when to go. Whether it's the tour or a normal ticket for the day, everyone should check this place out!

A Must-Visit Sanctuary: Support the Lions and the Amazing Team in Henderson 🦁❤️ As a huge lover of big cats, I can’t express how grateful I am to have a place like the Lion Habitat Ranch right here in the Las Vegas area. It’s a sanctuary that truly needs and deserves the support of both locals and tourists to continue their incredible mission. The Experience: Passion & Dedication You can immediately feel the love and dedication of the volunteers and staff. Seeing these majestic felines up close is breathtaking, but knowing that your visit helps fund their care and growth makes it even more special. It’s a peaceful, well-maintained environment that offers a much-needed connection with nature just outside the city lights. A Heartfelt Tribute I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of their famous painting giraffe, Ozzie. His artwork was legendary and he was a true icon of the Ranch. Even without him, the spirit of the sanctuary remains strong, and there are so many other beautiful animals that need our attention and support. Why You Should Go: • Educational & Inspiring: Perfect for families or anyone who wants to learn more about conservation. • Local Support: They rely heavily on our visits. I make it a point to come back 2 or 3 times a year to check in and contribute. • Location: Conveniently located in Henderson, making it an easy and rewarding trip for anyone in the Valley. Verdict: 10/10. This isn't just a tourist attraction; it’s a community treasure. Please visit, donate, and help this ranch grow. These animals deserve the best!

Absolutely phenomenal! The animals, keepers, and volunteers were amazing! Huge shoutout to how funny and informative volunteer Jim was! (egg hole 🤣🤣🤣) Some pros: + I have never been able to see animals/lions this closely at a zoo. Being close at a safe distance really allows you to appreciate them for a very long time. + there were activities/enrichment to watch around the clock! I really enjoyed hoofing it from a Bird Chat to a lion snack to an emu painting and then to another lion snack and then a photo opp with Rock. + I learned SO MUCH! huge shoutout again to the keepers and volunteers who told us so much

Loved all the animals. They lost the giraffe to age some years back but still have hos beautiful art work on the gift shop for sale. It was such a beautiful experience to share with my boyfriend. Having a date woth your special someone of a family outing is highly recommended. Ask the keepers questions they are extremely knowledgeable and they helped us understand each and every animal we visited

Perfect Sunday morning trip with the fam. The entire staff was so kind, caring, and helpful! Even before we left a nice young man said “wait, you can get a photo with a lion before you go!”. They care about the animals first, and they care about your experience. We’ll be telling everyone to check it out.
