Gulf Breeze Zoo

What an amazing zoo! There was such a variety of animals and we loved that all the animals had plenty of space and nothing felt rushed. The train ride was awesome with a great audio description of each animal That we saw in the train. Parking was easy and the cafeteria had a great variety of options. The kids meals are served in a really cool Safari hat. Highly recommend checking out.

What a fantastic place! I highly recommend visiting the Gulf Breeze Zoo with your kids if you’re in the area on vacation. It’s spacious enough to easily spend a full day, with plenty of activities and exhibits to keep children happily entertained the whole time. The zoo is wonderfully interactive—you can get up close and feed so many animals, including giraffes, birds, Scottish Highland cows, alligators, and goats. We also loved the train ride and highly recommend it; you get to see so much more of the grounds than from the observation bridge alone! If you’re anywhere near Navarre, the Gulf Breeze Zoo is a must-do. You won’t regret it!

We went early some of the animals was still asleep so I'd recommend going a little after noonish. But all in all it was so much fun. Got to feed and play with the animals and everything was so up close. The train ride was fun and very educational and made the whole experience a memorable trip

MUST SEE while in Navarre or Gulf Breeze. There are a ton of different animals in this zoo and a lot of interaction with the animals. There are many different opportunities to feed the animals and get some awesome photos. We were definitely surprised at how enormous this zoo is. That allows them to have many different ecosystems to keep a variety of animals. I would recommend waiting for the train ride as it is very cool to ride around the entire facility and learn more about a lot of the animals.

The zoo was very quiet. Some animals were not out for viewing. There is very little interaction for children unless you want to pay additionally for a private viewing. It’s nothing like a big city zoo so don’t expect much from this place. The tickets were extremely overpriced but do give military discounts. Absolutely nothing in this zoo was free. My grandbabies are 18months and showed no interest in anything but the giraffe exhibit. In order to exit, you must walk through a gift shop with is clever to get sales and gain more revenue. It took less than an hour to pretty much see everything in the zoo.

Best experience ever! There is so much hands on and close encounter options. The goats, coos, and giraffe are right there! The camel were silly. The tortoise were amazing and so were the sloth. The train was educational and very well designed. We did the Hippo feeding and it was amazing, I definitely recommend this experience for anyone who loves the hippos! The entire staff was friendly and just incredible, we did not have one bad encounter at the zoo. It was so clean, the animals were active, and it’s definitely family friendly!

We had an amazing time!!!! The staff is so sweet and very helpful. All the animals were out and happy. The facts everywhere were the coolest. We also got to see them making the animals fruit bowl snacks. This is definitely a must go.

I grew up going to this zoo and haven't been back for 15 years. I was pleasantly surprised at all the updates and features. Much more interactive events and exhibits. The train ride is still great and enjoyed the new gift shop and cafe.
