Kohl Children's Museum

The kids had so much fun! Everything is scaled to little ones for imaginative play there’s a café, supermarket, library, veterinary clinic, regular clinic, daycare, music room, and more. If you plan to visit more than once or twice, I’d definitely recommend getting a membership. They even have areas for babies who aren’t walking yet. It’s a great spot for kids under 6 or 7. Older kids might get bored a bit faster, but there’s an arts and crafts area so they can still have fun. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and organized everything was, and there were plenty of staff and volunteers around.

We absolutely love bringing our toddler/preschooler here every time we visit Chicago ❤️👶. It’s such a fun and engaging place with tons of different areas to explore, especially the water play section, which is always a huge hit 💦🎉. No matter where you go, there’s something exciting that keeps kids entertained and curious 🤩. That said, during our most recent visit, we did notice that the overall upkeep could be improved a bit 🛠️. Some of the equipment and toys felt a little worn out and outdated, like they could use some care and refreshing. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it was definitely noticeable. Hopefully, they’ll invest some effort into maintenance, because this place really has amazing potential 🌟.

My baby was 18 months old and he had an awesome time, every section is designed for kids to learn have fun and get creative

Overall a fun little place. It was super cold outside but we rode the train anyways. It was a short ride that I felt could’ve been longer if they drove slower. I think it was less than 30 seconds total. There are other museums but if you’re in the area it’s worth the money.

Cool museum, the kids had fun, a grocery store, this is a favorite place, there are also many rooms and everything is connected with some kind of science, very educational, We got to a lesson on how the Roller Coaster works, it was cool, we came at 12, left at closing and we didn’t have enough to visit everywhere))) I recommend everyone to come at the opening, I’m sure you’ll be there for the whole day. There’s also a room outside with butterflies, it was closed but you can watch them, you can also find a small playground there and many tricycles for 1-3 years old. I can tell you a lot but that would be a spoiler 😜, go and enjoy it. There’s a lot of parking and it’s free. We went with the Link card and paid $5 per person.

Came here earlier this year for the Thomas exhibit and it was amazing. Very informative and had props from the original series. We loved it and saw other parts of the exhibits. Would come back.

Es un centro de aprendizaje y diversión para niños pequeños quizás de 7 hacia abajo, a mi pequeño le gustó mucho, el lugar es pequeño pero tiene un poco de todo, lo recomiendo, aproximadamente se recorre en 1:30 hrs.
