I'm asked to take a survey or leave review for Adventist Health Glendale. Not sure if this is for physician or facility. Multiple visits at facility and doc since yesterday. If physician, then thumbs up to doctor and staff. Welcoming and pleasant. Very happy with experience. Adding in more comments- this is for facility. very good experience, staff is welcoming and always smiling. Technician for my ultrasound was exceptional, wtg Brian.

My recent experience was very pleasurable for having to have a surgical procedure. The pre-op team was very nice and helpful. They kept me informed as to what was going to happen and what to prepare for. The surgical team was very much the same. Very friendly and caring. The post-op team and discharge team was very much the same. Very friendly, caring and answered all my questions and prepared me for discharge.

I wish I would have gotten my post op recovery nurses name! SHE WAS AN ANGEL, she stood by my side and made sure my care team was aware of my status and kept a close eye on me when things looked fuzzy on my numbers. She made sure I went up to my admitting room safely and made sure to give report thoroughly to make sure I was in the best care. RN Ingrid and CNA Jay were amazing they were very professional and attentive and timely with checking on me they run a very smooth shift. I’m very grateful for them truly. May God bless them tenfold 🤲🏼🙏🏼

I would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Adventist Health Glendale Hospital for the exceptional care I received from admissions through discharge. From the very beginning, everyone treated me with compassion, professionalism, and genuine attentiveness during what was a very worrisome procedure for me. I especially want to recognize Eureka, who took all of my medical history and truly took her time explaining the procedure and every step that would take place from beginning to end. Her patience, kindness, and reassurance made me feel informed and comfortable throughout the process. She did all the this while being rushed and demeaned by another nurse. I’m also very grateful to my OR nurse, the anesthesiologist, and the nurse assisting Dr. Mellow. Every single person worked together seamlessly and made me feel safe, cared for, and supported. The teamwork in post-op was also amazing CNA (male-) taking my vitals and transported me to vehicle, the level of patient care I experienced was exceptional. Thank you all for making such a stressful experience feel much more manageable. Your compassion and dedication truly made a difference

Please note that this review is not directed toward Dr. Shirley Chan. She has been nothing short of an amazing physician, and I am incredibly grateful for the care she has provided throughout my pregnancy. My concerns are solely with Adventist Health’s handling of her departure and the lack of support provided to patients during this transition. Dr. Chan, you are an incredible doctor, and I am so saddened to hear that you are no longer with Adventist Health. As one of your patients, I have been devastated by this news. What has been especially frustrating is that I learned about your departure through the grapevine rather than through direct communication from Adventist Health. Despite having an appointment scheduled in just two weeks, I have received no information regarding whether that appointment will be honored, who will be taking over my care, or what the transition plan is moving forward. Also, keep in mind the other practicing physician, Dr. Harrington will also be leaving. I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and have called numerous OB/GYN offices throughout the area, only to be told they are unable to accept me because they are already fully booked with November due dates. I also know of multiple people who had her also as a physician who are now scrambling. Being left to navigate this situation on my own in the middle of a pregnancy has been incredibly stressful and overwhelming. The lack of communication, transparency, and patient support from Adventist Health has left me feeling abandoned and uncertain about the continuity of care for both myself and my baby. Pregnant patients should not have to learn about major changes to their medical care through rumors, nor should they be left scrambling to find a new provider with little notice and no guidance. While I will always be grateful for the exceptional care Dr. Chan provided, I am deeply disappointed in how Adventist Health has handled this transition. I sincerely hope the organization reviews its processes so that other patients do not experience the same distress and uncertainty.

Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. Considering they had an influx of people, it went much faster than I would have expected. I really like the attentiveness of everyone. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is not feeling well. You will receive the best help.

Starting w/ guards and ending with the discharge nurse, the encountered w/ Adventist was an Absolute Blessing!!! The check-in nurse is so sweet and patient. She so attentive and caring. The registration staff Olivia, is very detailed w/ all the paperwork. Everyone knew their job and executed it well. I understood every procedure to the fullest and they were so kind!!! I basically had all male staff servicing me, I felt a bit apprehensive about that, however, when they spoke to me and assured of each process, I relaxed and enjoyed my visit. Dr. Wu, and staff was super informative they answered all my concerns without hesitation, that’s assurance👏 The phlebotomy team IS AMAZING!!! Kudos to Jose who took my blood on the first stick and the 2nd nurse who inserted an IV line. Both were Super Amazing at their job. I had told both of them I’m a hard-stick, Jose turned and looked at me, I specialized in hard-sticks. The nurse who inserted the IVLine, said, Jose is my leader. The Entire staff seems to work effortlessly together. They communicate well with each other and it shows. This collaboration could not exist without a Great Executive and Management Team supporting the workers. Respect and kindness to staff goes a long way. Great Job Adventist Hospital, absolute best hospital in Glendale, California. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In my experience, this is the best clinic when it comes to care, attention, and the way they treat patients; they treat you like family. Everyone is kind, good, attentive, and caring. Thank you for all the care and the wonderful way you treated me—everything was perfect. A thousand thanks for everything, from the bottom of my heart!
