The Whale

We love The Whale! 🐳 Our group ranged from 2-80 and we ALL had a great time! The live band was jamming, the food was amazing and our server Maddie was top notch! The view was incredible! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amanda our waitress was great. We will go back to see her again! The murals are beautiful. You can tell a lot of effort went into making this a destination. Menu has selections for everyone. Three stories of great views. Get the fries for a side, unique and worth it. Live music was awesome, not too loud. Get off the beach and get into the whale! 🐳

The food was good, pretty average, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, especially on the third floor with the view. However, we had some issues with the service. The person who brought out the food was not the same person who took our order, and there was confusion with several dishes when serving them. Also, even though the restaurant closes at 10 PM, by 9 PM they were already lowering the shutters and closing off the airflow. We asked about it and were told it was supposedly done to avoid disturbing the turtles and scaring them away, but honestly we didn’t really understand that explanation. After they closed everything up, the area became very hot and many people started leaving because of the heat. I think they could handle that part better so customers can enjoy the experience more comfortably.

We dined here on 4/4/26. The atmosphere is real nice as they have 3 levels to dine and sit at a bar. The 3rd floor has some nice views of the beach. The food that we ordered was really good. I had the Philly Cheesesteak and fries. The bread was very good as it stood up to the meat juices and cheese. Others in my party had the Burrata and Peach Salad and Cuban sandwich. Both meals were tasty. I didn’t visit the 2nd floor, so I have no info on it.

What a beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Waited downstairs for a half hour to be seated in dining room on the third floor for sunset views. Dinner were ok. Order Chicken Alfredo, but it accidentally came with no chicken. Quickly solved and delicious.

Dellanie was so professional and awesome and full of smiles. I really enjoyed my appetizers. The mahi fish dip was really really delicious and the the shrimp/corn cream soup was really good also. Very very delicious

Delicious food, super fun atmosphere, and the PERFECT location!!! So glad we got to try it out during our vaca in Fort Myers. Had to wait about an hour but during peak season, that’s to be expected- we took a nice walk and enjoyed the scenery and gorgeous weather. We did opt to sit on the 2nd floor with AC because that humidity gets ya after awhile! I sipped on a Bumbu and pineapple which was just 🤌 we got shrimp cocktail which was 10/10! 🍤 I opted for the steak and my partner got the chicken sandwich and said it was the best he’s ever had! I actually requested to sub a side salad instead of the lobster Mac and cheese (sinful, I know…) wellllll they gave me the lobster Mac anyways and omg. Life changing. We got a slice of keylime pie for dessert and it was stellar. This place is big sports bar vibes for sure- they had the Purdue game on and people were going crazy- including us haha! It was a blast- awesome food, great service, all in all good times. Would definitely come back. PS- the lights at night are SO awesome! Loved it 🐳

I hadn’t been back since right before Hurricane Ian until today. Wow - ordered the blacked shrimp with the Pina colada butter sauce and Brussels sprouts. amazing! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the seasoning with that sauce - yumm-o. Will be back for sure
