5 Burro Cafe

When I first sat down both me and my man wanted to leave only because we thought the food wouldn’t be good, we stayed to give it a chance. Thank god we did! Some of the best Mexican food we both have ever tried, amazing customer service as well! The steak tacos and chicken flautas were sooo good, the tacos were better though. Will be coming back here more often!

I came here for 4/20/2026, after 5 months straight my friends showed me when we walked home from the gym nearby. Yes we participated in 4/20 activities. We were coming from a hike(four hours of walking). The nachos? Devoured. And free btw. The food? DELICIOUS OMG. i got the tacos al pastor and my friend got the chimichanga. Both were devoured fully. This is one of the best photos I’ve ever taken. 100000/10.

Food is good, but I feel like they changed cooks. The rice tasted like stale old rice and the beans needed salt. This place is good, but overpriced and they don't even have happy hour.

Whenever I’m visiting friends in Forest Hills, 5 Burro Cafe is always a great choice. It’s the perfect place to grab a meal, catch up, and enjoy a fun night out together. The food is delicious, and the portions are absolutely enormous. The burrito is practically the size of my arm, and I usually end up taking enough home for lunch the next day. You definitely won’t leave hungry. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, making it a great spot when you’re craving authentic Mexican food. And the margaritas are just as good as the food—refreshing, well-made, and the perfect addition to any meal. If you’re looking for a fun restaurant to enjoy with friends, great food, huge portions, and excellent margaritas, 5 Burro Cafe is definitely worth checking out.

Amazing food and service. Never fails. Our favorites for over 20+ years are the Camarones ajilos in the appetizers and enchiladas suiza!

Good place to have a big meal and enjoy with your friends and family. Food tasted delicious. The portion of the food was big enough for a person. Had leftovers to take home for later snack. The atmosphere is perfect for casual dining. The restaurant was quite cold. It was a cold rainly day. The service was alright, although we had to wait for the waiter for a long time to get our check. The gratuity 20% was already included for Friday early dinner time at 5 for 4 people. Note: Lunch and dinner price is different, the portion of the food is different for lunch and dinner.

The Actual worst Resturant I have ever been to. The service is horrible. All the workers were so horrible and dismissive. I think this restaurant got a little over their heads, they even said I used chat GPT to make my ID???? All the workers seemed drunk there. Sampson was so so rude I never want to return to this restaurant again. Do not recommend. There are so many better places on Austin street to depend your night. Please please do not come here.

Popped in for a late lunch with a friend on a 100 degree day. It was so nice and cool in there, it was incredibly refreshing. I had the pulled pork tacos and they were amazing. The grilled veggies were cooked perfectly. I asked several times for no salt on my rim and it came w salt. What can you do. This place was cute, thanks for having us!
