Have been a royal customer with Phil and son's for years. Their food have always been good and tasty. But today is a huge disappointment.
I ordered a margarita pizza with added pepperoni, what i received was a straight up pepperoni pizza. Not margarita pizza with pepperoni on top. I called and spoke to the guy on the phone, he said that's how they made the margarita pizza. No herb, no tomatoes, no mozzarella. He was not apologetic and insisted that that's how they made the margarita pizzas. See the pic attached.
I should've just ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and not being charged extra.
Shame on Phil and son, try to scheme their customers like this.
Food was fantastic! The barbecue chicken slice is a must try. Dragon slayer burger came with a kick give it a try
Great people working here, suppose Sal is a good guy too. Got the drunken grandma pie, but somehow favorite part of it was the crust
Known this place for 30 years. With higher cost to maintain business something had to give.
The cheese is so cheap that the whole bottom of the slice was soggy. It was soaked in cheese oil.
Never again.
The food here is absolutely spectacular! Pizza is always fresh. It calzones are never heavy, super fresh! Try the seafood platter, it's wonderful. The boys are really friendly. It even has nice artwork on the walls. They've been in business forever, and it's no wonder.
Very disappointed they served me this the pizza and great but this chicken is not !! Definitely not going back
Phil and Son’s is one of the most underrated pizza spots in New York. True QUALITY pizza and more! My family has been ordering from here for probably over a decade. Best food hands down!
I recently received Phil's menu in the mail and decided to try them. Their pizza is excellent and I'm truly impressed because it is delivered so hot as if we were eating in the restaurant! Five stars is not enough!!
