New York Food Court

I come here often, especially to the beancurd shop at the corner. Other vendors are friendly to deal with, and their food is delicious. Glad to see it surviving and thriving. More of them don't take credit cards.

I had the dry malatong in the food court. It's the stall in the back with the word tang on their sign. You pick your proteins and veggies. The foods get charged by weight. Then you pick your level of spicy. When it's done your food is in a big bowl and a container of white rice. It's a very good amount for 2 people. We couldn't finished it and pack it to go. Great service and great foods. Would go back again.

Wanna eat authentic Chinese food while in Flushing but not sure where to go? Go here is my advice so you have like a dozen stalls to choose from for a wide variety of dishes. Prime examples: Taiwan braised sliced pork, stir fried rice noodles, yellow chicken, braised pork knuckles, sizzling steak, mala fish, sauerkraut fish, chili fish, hairy crab rice (👍🏻), five spice calamari. My personal favorite is from Lanzhou Hand Pull Noodles shop— oxtail hand pulled noodle soup. The beef broth is amazing so no matter what topping you add, the whole thing will be amazing still.

Tried Stall #16 out!! The Intestines Glass Noodles w veggies is actually really good! I'm surprisingly shocked!! The popcorn Chicken wasn't that good!! They do take Venmo or Zelle which is nice since many of us don't carry cash anymore!!

I have to visit a food court while in Flushing. This is one of the older ones. It’s a typical Chinese food court where you can order any type of food you want. Nothing fancy but good food at a reasonable price.

Lots of authentic Asian food stalls to try. This is one of the few places you can get real stinky tofu. A specialty! Tastes just like what you get from Taiwan. The hand pulled noodles were ok too. Prices were awesome too! Very reasonable. Bring cash!

Lanzhou hand pulled noodles #22 Excellent noodles in clear, flavorful broth with oxtails and vegetables. Oxtails were very tender. Throw in a strawberry iced tea from happy lemon And I’m a happy guy. Next time I’m going back for the lamb burger.

I guess I had high expectation after seeing many social media posts. Maybe I’m not a fan of real authentic Chinese food? Every stall had very unique and authentic food.. but it wasn’t for me. Crab noodle was ok, not great. Tasted too crabby and not fresh. Pork buns were made fresh but the inside was smelly and it was not hot. Self cleaning statin was dirty and bathroom was dirty.. if you are looking for better atmosphere, this is not a place for you.
