Tek sıkıntısı şehir merkezine biraz uzak oluşu ve toplu taşımacılığında birkaç aşamayla yapılması,bir gün yetmeyebilir

Ein wirklich beeindruckender Park und für uns definitiv einen Besuch wert. Die Tiere haben große, naturnah gestaltete Gehege, was uns besonders gut gefallen hat. Man sieht dadurch zwar nicht jedes Tier sofort, aber genau das macht den Park für uns authentisch und tierfreundlich. Die Safari war ein echtes Highlight und der gesamte Park ist sehr gepflegt. Das Personal war überall freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Tipp: Kommt möglichst direkt zur Öffnung um 8:00 Uhr. Dann ist es noch angenehm kühl, die Tiere sind deutlich aktiver und der Park ist noch nicht so voll. Außerdem schafft man an einem Tag viel mehr. Klare Empfehlung – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The best zoo in Southern California. I love coming to the Safari Park. It’s massive and there so much to look at. I believe it’s better than the San Diego Zoo, but the good thing is that you can visit both if you get the yearly pass. As long as you visit twice, you made up the value of your purchase. And who wouldn’t want to come twice to San Diego to see the animals. The safari tram is included with your ticket purchase and takes you fairly close to the animals which you can see living together in a long stretch land. You get to see giraffes, rhinos, water buffalo, gazelle, and many others all while in the tram. It’s easy to walk around and you get to see some very unique animals like the okapi and the platypus which is the only zoo in the US where you can see platypus. They have great alcoholic beverages for adults. The restaurants have good food while you’re in the park.

My partner and I went for the first time today (Saturday: memorial weekend). It was such a beautiful and incredible experience. We are definitely coming back many more times! We recommend doing the Behind the Scenes Safari! Sammy was such an incredible and knowledgeable tour guide! It makes you appreciate their work more, thank you for saving the animals.

This was my first time going here, I’ve been to the San Diego Zoo twice. The Safari Park is about 36-40 mins away from the San Diego Zoo. It’s a very scenic ride. We went on a Sunday and it was busy. With SD Zoo, you feel more cramped and crowded when it’s super busy. At the Safari Park, it’s more spaced out so you’re not walking shoulder to shoulder with people. For general parking it’s $20 for all day. Preferred parking is $45. If you park in the general section, be prepared to walk up a steep hill. For the admission, it’s $78 for an adult and $68 for a child. We paid $130 for the multi day/multi park for adults. We spent 6 hrs here and that’s including lunch. If you save your aluminum cup, I think it’s $3 for refills. Be expected to pay for exorbitant prices for the food. Food portions weren’t tiny so that’s a plus. They have a free African tram that’s about 25 mins long. The line can get very long depending on what time you line up. They have a Journey into the Wild presentation that is worth checking out. There is only one showing at 1 pm in the Benbough Amphitheater. It runs for about 20 mins. I would get there early to get good seats. If you have extra money, they have experiences that you can pay for. They range from $32 to $760 depending on what you’re interested in. One of the highlights is being so close to the kangaroos without any fences.

Very beautiful and fun zoo and animal park. Definitely get there early and head straight towards the tram to avoid long lines. Unless you have a membership for preferred seating. It’s worth the cost on busy day. There’s a lot of back and forth in the zoo so download the map app to figure your way around more efficiently. Many of the animals were very active and easy to spot today. I’m not sure if this is an everyday occurrence but we got lucky and saw everything we wanted to see. I highly recommend bringing your family here. If you get a membership, it’s more cost effective since it works at both San Diego zoo locations.
