Hi. Father and son moved me today from North Aurora to Hammond Indiana. From a house to a house and also a storage unit. Martin and his team did a great job. Very friendly, on time and fast!! I highly recommend this company. Great job guys!!

Martin and his son did an outstanding job unloading our apartment into a moving truck. They were personable, timely and very careful with our belongings. It took them less than 2 hours to load everything. All the stuff was easy to unload when we arrived at our location 12 hours away. Their pricing was very competitive and it was worth every penny.

These guys were great and fast. We had a full sofa with electronic recliners on both ends and it needed to be moved from the basement to the main floor. They disassembled it, moved it, and reassembled it in under an hour. And we're very nice. Absolutely recommend!

The movers were careful, followed instructions, and placed everything where we asked. The actual work was good. But two things really bothered me: Communication was terrible. They arrived 1.5 hours late. I got a call 15 min before arrival saying they'd be 35 min late, then another call from the owner 45 min after the scheduled time saying they'd just picked up the truck and would be another hour. I left work early to be there on time, so that cost me money. All I got was a verbal apology — no discount or compensation. The pricing doesn't add up. They charged $75/person for labor and also billed for travel time between locations. But if I'm already paying $200 for the truck, why am I paying hourly labor rates for driving time? That's not moving, that's transit. Total labor was billed from 3:00–6:25 PM (over 3 hours), but active moving was only about 2 hours once you subtract the 1 hr 15 min of driving. Advice to others: Confirm their late policy and ask exactly how travel time is billed before you book.

We feel so fortunate to have hired Martin and his team for our move. They packed, loaded, unpacked, and reassembled for ten hours. They worked fast, carefully, and nonstop. We wouldn't have been able to afford this kind of service and this level of service with any other moving company. We're so glad we chose Father and son so we could be in our new home for Christmas.
