Ocoee Rafting

Best time EVER!!! We had an AMAZING time rafting with Cam at Ocoee Rafting! He was an incredible guide from beginning to end. He made us feel safe and comfortable while still making the entire experience exciting and fun. Cam took the time to teach us everything we needed to know, including how to safely get on and off the raft, what to do through the rapids, and how to work together as a team. What really made the experience special was how knowledgeable he was about the entire area. As we rafted, he told us about the surrounding wildlife, the landscape, and even the rock formations and how old they were. It felt like we were getting a rafting adventure and a nature/history tour all in one! Cam was knowledgeable, patient, professional, and fun. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and cares about giving everyone a great experience. If you’re rafting with Ocoee Rafting, ask for Cam! We would absolutely choose him again.

What a great way to spend Father's Day. We did the full river, about 3 hours on the water, and what a great trip. Note: This is a physical experience. You do need to pay attention, paddle and 'hit the deck' on command unless you want to leave the boat and become an 'independent' flotation device. You are not at Six Flag and participation is required. Our guide, Jake, was phenomenal. He really knows the river and was able to navigate every feature flawlessly. There are calm sections to just rest and take in the beauty of the river or jump out and swim for a bit. The facilities are top notch and the team at Ocoee Rafting is very professional and organized. Plan to wear some type of water shoe or tennis shoes you don't mind getting wet because everything will get wet. The rapids range from class 1 to several class 4 feature that will get you if you're not paying attention. Book you trip now. You won't regret it. And, oh ya, tip the hell out of your guide and the bus driver. They bust their asses out there for you.

Our guide Gracie was PHENOMENAL!! We had a wonderful time and would absolutely book her again. A few things to note: don’t arrive early, the owner literally scolded us and every family that came “early”. Our reservation was for 12:15 and check in didn’t start until 12:45, you are NOT allowed in the shop or bathrooms until check in starts. Upon arriving early the owner told us we could “wait in our cars” when I pushed and stated we would be waiting on the completely empty covered patio, the owners very hesitantly said “ok but you have to keep it down.” It was beyond strange. Bathrooms are super clean and very nice. The guide made our trip, request Gracie and avoid the owners for an awesome day.

Your energy, sense of humor, professionalism, and the way you guided us through the river made the whole experience even better than we could have imagined. Recome100% ask for Emily…..My husband, daughter,neace and I ran the full river on Saturday 04 the July, Was the first time for us, but this experience was more fun by far. Our guide Emily was awesome, kind, sweet,smart, she knows the river like the back of her hand, made this trip the most memorable of them all. We'll definitely be back and I'll definitely be asking for Emily again.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable day on the Ocoee, I can’t recommend Matt Kimsey enough. From the moment you meet him, it’s obvious he genuinely loves what he does. His knowledge of the river, years of experience, and calm confidence make you feel safe while still making every rapid exciting. Matt has such a great personality! he’s funny, easygoing, and knows exactly how to keep the trip fun without sacrificing professionalism or skill set. You can tell he works incredibly hard to give every group the best experience possible, whether it’s your very first time rafting or you’ve been on whitewater for years. He does an excellent job reading both the river and his guests, making sure everyone is comfortable, challenged, and having a great time. By the end of the trip, you’ll not only have some incredible memories, but you’ll probably feel like you’ve made a new friend. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced paddler, I highly recommend requesting Matt as your guide. You won’t be disappointed.

Came here for my first time yesterday and had so much fun. We did the full river trip and got ate by godzilla & we are so thankful for everyone who helped get us out. Listen to your guide people 😂 Speaking of, we loved Reid, she was super chill, personable and made the experience as smooth as possible. Thank you a ton again! Y’all book with them, you absolutely will not regret the experience. (Also yes I had to post a a couple pictures of the few of us that fell in during godzilla because they’re too funny not to)

I've done guided adventures before, and Matt is easily the best guide I've ever had in any setting. If you're booking a rafting trip and have the option to request him, do it. Future raft guides everywhere have an impossible standard to live up to now. Matt somehow manages to be equal parts expert navigator, coach, comedian, and hype man. He made everyone feel confident and safe while still keeping the trip exciting and unforgettable. His knowledge of the river was incredible, his instructions were clear, and his timing through the rapids felt almost effortless to watch. I love him. 10/10 highly recommended
