THE LKSD

This place is such a vibe! Made the trek from south OC but worth it. Started with sushi platter and lobster Mac 😋 then for mains had the Mess burger which had hot Cheetos(loved it) & the TomaHawk, it was huge we shared between four of us. I am a bartender so I’m super picky about drinks & they delivered! They were delicious and fresh. We ended with dessert and it was on fire literally. It was a cute little show. What made the whole experience really stand out though was our server, Bryan, he was just fantastic. The owner Arturo was there and he was the cherry on top. Super welcoming and nice.

We visited LKSD in Downey on January 28. It was lunch date with my fiancé and was recommended by me. I’ve seen posts on their Instagram social media and was interested in trying it. We got there maybe an hour into them opening and it was completely empty. It was very dark and intimate (which we didn’t mind), due to them filming and taking photos to promote a new drink on their social platforms. The gentleman that assisted us was very attentive and made sure to check in on us as we dined. The food was quick, fresh and tasteful. My fiancé ordered a filet steak with fingerling potatoes, I had wings and a salad. Everything was tasty but I’m curious on the ambience and environment at night when there is a crowd. We will come back for the evening crowd.

The best tomahawk cooked to perfection with crispness all around. The sides are a must specially their mushroom sauce. Service could've been 5 stars, unfortunately server was nowhere to be found at times and approached 2x only. (Taking order and dropping check) Kudos to the food runner for going out of the way to meet our needs.

I recently visited THE LKSD and it turned out to be an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere has a really cool, stylish vibe that makes it perfect for a night out, whether it’s a date or a celebration. The food was absolutely on point—everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. What really stood out to me was how consistent the quality was, especially with their signature dishes like steak and sides, which many people seem to love. The drinks were also a highlight—creative, well-balanced, and definitely worth trying. Overall, it’s a place that delivers both great taste and a memorable ambiance. Definitely somewhere I’d come back to and recommend to anyone looking for a premium dining experience.

I was very excited to try this place, but I was extremely disappointed. They charge fine-dining prices for their steaks, yet they lack proper seasoning. I was disappointed from the very first bite. I ordered the ribeye steak, and I've had much better steaks elsewhere. I wouldn't come back even if the food were free. My 10-year-old can season a steak better than this. If you like unseasoned steak, this is the place for you. The fries tasted old as well. They didn't seem fresh and were neither hot nor crispy.

Cool aesthetic bar restaurant, it is a little higher in price but the food is worth it. The sides come separate, good for groups. Took two people for the first time and they loved it. Great for birthday and date night. The drinks are soooo good too.

The food was great, I especially loved the Elote. The service was very good and except for noise levels which I don't care for while eating. I do recognize this is a bar focused restaurant and they tend to be loud. It would have been a five all around otherwise. Would go back definitely for the food, in fact we did twice! Posting a pic of the to-go tiramisu. Enough for four people and beautifully packaged.

The burger was okay, but not worth 2x a good burger otherwise. Maybe just an off-night for them, but the macaroni and cheese had zero salt involved in the preparation and there was no salt on the tables. I hardly touched it and the server didn’t even ask me if there was a problem. He seemed more annoyed that I didn’t come to drink. I will not go back and could not recommend.
