Beautiful park! Usually clean. Neat playground..May see ducks and egrets. There are quite a few homeless people passing through. Not sure if there is a shelter nearby. Seen several littering on bikes. Otherwise a good park, lots of history.

Love this park, but not a huge fan of the rock wall and tripple slide being gone. There’s also a couple across the street who likes to just stand outside and watch anyone over regular playground age hanging out there. Teens and adults can swing too! And there was this one time me and my friends were walking the block around after dinner and some guy in all black started following us around starting by the rock bridge and persisting to the park, then stopped to watch us behind a tree. Be careful when you’re out at night, bring a friend and/or self defense tools.

A lot of open space and naturally abundant. A majority of the area is made up of grass and trees which gives a lot of room for visitors to do their own activities (picnic, crafts, reading, exercise). The playground is also quite big too so visitors with larger groups have more space to run around and play. Though when I have used their restroom, I noticed only water was provided for hand-washing so be sure to bring soap. Also especially if you are doing activities that will cause your hands to get dirty. Also always check the temperature beforehand because their are parts of the park that are not shaded and so for example if you visit on a really hot day, it can be challenging to enjoy even under the shaded areas. I personally like the hot weather, but I know not everyone feels the same way. Overall I like it! During certain times of the day to the sun will light up the area so perfectly. I have gotten some really beautiful photos during the summertime.

Quakertown Park is a lovely park located next to the Emily Fowler Library. It has several walking paths and picnic tables, a large play area with swings, a slide, a musical instrument, and more for children to play on. There is a restroom area as well as street parking. But the best part is the trees. Quakertown Park has several dozen beautiful large pecan, red oak, and white oak trees. I like to come here when the weather is cooler and just walk for about 15-30 minutes, watch the squirrels and ducks. It's very peaceful.

This park is beautiful! I discovered this place while trying to find a good location for me and my little boys to eat our pizza. I was so delighted to find this amazing park! My boys loved how many squirrels there are everywhere for them to chase after and see. The trail that leads all through the grounds is very well maintained and has lots of great spots to see the little stream and see nature.

Nice park, took the kids there. But a lot of creepy homeless people driving bikes and hanging out all over the park. I think we will go somewhere else next time. Sad this place has gone so far downhill.

Civic center has a great indoor air-conditioned walking trail but closes frequently for "private events" with no prior notice, leaving paying members nowhere to exercise
