The decor makes the place. It’s a fun vibe. The staff is welcoming and friendly from the door to the kitchen to the wait staff. We sat upstairs so we got to see everything going on, all the decor and experienced semi-private dining as there are just a few booths upstairs so that was a nice bonus. The food was really tasty but a bit pricey. Sandwiches/burgers don’t come with fries or chips, those are additional so it made each meal over $20 per person. Kind of crazy for a burger. Our burgers were cooked exactly to order (mine medium rare, my husbands medium) but the fries were a bit undercooked. We didn’t say anything to our waiter as it was a late night dine and we were just hungry.

Best view in Denton—even in the Texas heat! If you want the absolute perfect view of the amazing Denton Courthouse, you have to grab a spot up top at LSA. They definitely live up to that "Lone Star Attitude" name with the music, the energy, and the vibe. We sat on the rooftop, and even though it was a super hot Texas day, they had enough high-powered fans and shade set up to keep us completely comfortable. The menu here is awesome because it easily handles completely different cravings. Brian went for a burger with their spicy "snake venom" sauce and loved it—it has a serious, fantastic kick. I was looking for something lighter and went with the steamed veggie plate, which was fresh and perfectly prepared. Oh, and definitely grab a side of the parm fries—they are an absolute hit. The staff was great across the board—fast, friendly, and keeping the cold drinks coming. Between the killer food, the great service, and that iconic view of the square, LSA is always a win.
Come for the view, stay for the fries! The upstairs outdoor seating is amazing and has a very cool aesthetic. The burgers were decent, but for the price point, I was expecting a bit more "wow" factor. I understand the premium pricing given the location on the Square, but I’d love to see the burgers match the quality of the view!
Was in town for a campus tour and decided to stop by on recommendation of our tour guide. The place has a fun, funky vibe with nostalgic paintings, pictures and items from legendary singers across genres and decades. The staff was friendly and the food was pretty good. We really enjoyed their queso, turkey bob and parmesan fries. They also habe tiny margs that are a perfect addition when you want a tiny little shot of margarita.
This restaurant's story makes me want to cheer for their mind-blowing successs! Everything was flavorful, attentively cooked and served, and creative! We had the brisket queso, fries, The Double Trouble on a jalapeño cheddar bun, and a prickly pear margarita. Our server was fantastic. Multiple people checked in on us during our experience upstairs. There is such a variety of seating and atmosphere, it could be enjoyable for any occasion. The esthetic was done with details in each element. Finally, the bathroom had a very clean presentation + the air freshener they used in there smelled earthy and natural! My nose, eyes, and mouth all agree on the 5 ⭐️
i came here on a wednesday afternoon looking for lunch in the area, and i gotta say it’s really good! i love the rooftop view of the denton square, it’s a really beautiful city center. i got the georgie burger and the chicken tenders and they were all really flavorful and good. our server was very helpful and patient as well!! if you’re looking for a good burger restaurant in denton this is the place.
Enjoyed our visit to LSA Burger! There was no wait to be seated even at 5pm on a Saturday night, and the staff were very helpful and let us pick where we would like to sit based on noise and heat levels. Service was very quick, and our burgers and garlic parm fries were delicious! We also sampled the margarita flight, which was very fun and had lots of unique flavors: Mango, White Peach, Strawberry, Prickly Pear, Pomegranate, + Blood Orange. Split between two people, but it could definitely be split between 3 or even 4 for a sip of each. The blood orange and pomegranate were our favs! Overall, excellent service, food, and atmosphere for a fun date on the square.
Brought some friends from out of town who were craving a good burger, and I already knew exactly where to take them. We headed back up to the rooftop, and the Texas wind was actually on our side for once! We kicked things off with the Brisket Queso and a cup of Texas Red Chili, which made for the perfect appetizer combo. The queso was melty, meaty goodness, and the chili hit the spot. This time I tried the Psychedelic with a black bean patty and a side of Parmesan fries… chef’s kiss. But the real reason I’m writing this review is Ian. He greeted us with a smile, answered all of our questions with genuine insight, had a great sense of humor, and somehow always seemed to know when our drinks needed refilling before we did. Service like that can turn a good meal into a memorable one. Thanks, Ian, for helping make our friends’ visit such a treat. And as always, the food was on point. We’ll definitely be back.
