Lakeside Park

This is a very beautiful park. While it doesn’t have long trails for walking, it’s still a great place to enjoy nature and relax. The lake is especially beautiful and adds to the peaceful atmosphere. However, since the park is surrounded by residential areas, you do need to pay attention to where you can and can’t walk.

Lakeside Park in Highland Park is a peaceful little escape. Shady trees, pretty creek views, and quiet paths make it perfect for a walk or quick break. Clean, calm, and great for slowing down for a bit after a busy day in the city. Be sure to check out the big teddy bear statues on the other side of the bridge.

It was surprising for us to find out this park within Dallas suburbs. We were driving by this park and it got our attention. On our way back we stopped and started strolling. It is a beautiful natural reserve. It has a nice lake that is connected to a waterfall. Our kid likes waterfall, so it was a nice surprise to him as well. There are sculptures of a teddy bear family. Lots of ducks on the lake, squirrels running around the trees. There are plenty of benches around the lake as well. We plan to visit this park often.

If you love nature visit this park. The Teddy bears are the highlight. Surrounded by a big beautiful lake with ducks, egrets, squirrels the place is a nature gem. Benches to sit on and relax while enjoying the view. My go to place to get away from the world. Dog friendly as well.🐶🐶

Nice park but looks like most part is being renovated. Has nice looking lake but smells under the bridge. There are benches around the lake. Professional photographers taking portrait pictures can be seen. Magnificent sculpture of Teddy bear family. Creek nearby with arc-like bridge which is also good for photo-shoot. Good for day or evening stroll.
