Animal ER of Northwest Houston

I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. I currently live in Brenham and my dog was very ill, during a weekend, so our only option was to travel to a 24/7 clinic. Unfortunately, he had a blockage and needed surgery asap and from the second I walked into the clinic, every single staff member that we came in contact with made us feel comfortable and welcome. Everything from their well educated techs/dr who explained every single detail before I even asked, how comfortable my dog felt to even walk in rooms without me, and just the overall vide was exactly what my momma heart needed. Even now, that he’s been home and recovering they have answered every question or concern that I had and have called to check in on him. I would happily recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone! Thank you to all of the staff at the ER clinic for saving my sweet Beaux Seafuss!

I cannot recommend this veterinary hospital enough. I had a desperate emergency with my 6 month old Great Dane (Daisey) yesterday morning. She had a snake bite that was swelling and she was not doing well. I was able to get her in immediately and everyone that we encountered (I wish i could remember everyone’s name) during our visit, were kind, compassionate, supportive and understanding. I’m happy to say that she is doing 100% better today and we’re looking forward to her full recovery. Chloe, even followed up with a call this morning to make sure Daisey was feeling better. I highly recommend this ER hospital to anyone who needs help in an urgent situation. If i could give 10 stars I would. Thank y’all again, and Daisey says Wood! Woof!

6/10/2026: We were sent to Animal Er from Urgent Vet on Spring Cypress after rushing our beloved Dalilah(10yr old Tabby) in and it was very hard to go through her sickness and what was happening since April. She has critical and she was our families first real pet. From point of entry to Animal ER we walked in with our Hearts in pur hands..our precious Dalilah. From the front office attendant, a gentleman who was very compassionate to the Medical Staff “Brandy” and then Dr Hubbell. They were very kind and compassionate and help us thru this very painful time. My son and I together there had to do what was best for our Dalilah. I just had to come back and give Thanks and praise to everyone there. We left ther with her to bring her home to her resting place. Gods Grace to all at Animal Er, true Angels.

When we brought our beloved English Bulldog, Gordito, to the ER, we were facing one of the hardest moments a pet owner can experience. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff treated us with kindness, compassion, and dignity. The doctors and nurses took the time to explain everything clearly and showed genuine care not only for Gordito, but for our family as well. During an incredibly heartbreaking and emotional time, they made us feel supported, never rushed, and gave us the comfort we needed to make difficult decisions. Losing a pet is never easy, but I will always be grateful for the empathy, professionalism, and respect they showed us and our sweet boy. Thank you for helping Gordito cross the Rainbow Bridge with peace and dignity. Your compassion will never be forgotten. ❤️ Forever grateful

So i have had to take my little Joy Midnight twice to this ER and they have been top tier both times. Thorough in treating my little fur baby girl and attentive to details on subjective info from me. They were not dismissive and explained everything that they were doing and reason why BEFORE hand and i REALLY appreciate that! Front desk lady recognize my fur babygirl when she came in with her dad the second time instead of me. And we thought that was pretty cool as well! I love this place and HIGHLY recommend them!

Yesterday, I was a frantic mess because my puppy was stung by a wasp. They immediately took her back and treated her. They walked me through the plan and kept me updated throughout the process. The staff was so kind and really helpful. They even called this morning to check on her. Thank you for your kindness. Kona and I are very grateful!

We truly appreciate Dr. Hodge, tech Joey, and all the midnight techs and staffs who cared for Molly with such professionalism, kindness, and compassion. Words cannot express how thankful we are. We do not know how we could have gotten through this without all of you. Molly arrived at midnight after a serious dog attacked, and we were afraid she would not make it, but you all brought her back to us. We still have a long road ahead, and Molly still has a few follow-up appointments at your office. But first, I just want to share my feelings and express my deepest gratitude to all of you!

Knowledgeable, caring and capable. Our pup needed a 24 hour stay and a blood transfusion. They kept in contact and called about every 6 hours with updates. They were honest about costs and what care was needed. I hope to never need to bring my pup to an ER again, but if I do it with be here. You can trust them to care for your pet.
