WOW! I could not be more impressed with the unbelievable quantity and quality of offerings at Birds & Beasts! Don’t let the street view fool you: this place is gloriously HUGE and filled with every kind of bird, frog, fish, snake, reptile, and creepy crawly your heart could desire. I left with a gorgeous female leo to add to my menagerie and she is doing splendidly 🦎❤️ The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and welcoming and I feel so thrilled to have another wonderful exotic store to frequent!
We picked up the most beautiful ball python today, she’s a Pastel Enchi Pinstripe Lesser Fire (Pos Yellowbelly). She’s absolutely perfect and seems so healthy. I’m so glad I found this shop! Staff was friendly and all the habits for the animals were clean and well taken care of! I’ll definitely be recommending this store! I’m so happy with my experience here
I have been coming here for awhile since I got my bearded dragon from a different company. I enjoy the cheaper prices for more. But this is the last time I’m going to come by or have my husband go in for me. Today, my husband went in and asked for 6 dozen super-worms and the bald man working the counter was extremely rude to him and made him feel like he had no business coming in and asking for stuff. Then he comes back out and gives him 4 dozen instead of 6 dozen, and then my husband asked for mealworms and this man again treated him like a problem. Every time my husband comes in, everyone is rude to him. I actually tested this theory, I’ve come in myself and the only person who is nice to me is the woman with the green hair! But the other woman with the longer blonde hair, treated me every time like I’m a stupid costumer. So with all that being said. We will not come back, Fix your attitudes and be kind to others and you won’t lose customers. Receipt of today’s transaction for view.
Always go here for our African grey parrot bulk food. We live in chicago so we get alot of food at once. The people are so nice and they have a vast variety of food for our girl. Great.
I got my axolotle here. They are absolutely fantastic. They're super friendly and helpful. My pet is thriving and is absolutely gorgeous. His name is Axel Rose! (Assuming he's a male) He has been at my house for only three days and is already super playful when I put my hand in the tank!!! He loves both me and my wife a ton already. I couldn't be more happy with this purchase, which was thirty percent off everything (entire tank, setup, food, etc.) and extremely cheap for what you would typically pay at large pet stores.
Can’t talk highly enough about this place, Patrick and the other younger guy Max are the most knowledgeable fish experts I have ever met, not even google can answer as quick as them. They will answer every question you have and more. I was not able to keep fish longer than a year, now I’ve had the same fish for over 3 years all with their help. They also have tons of reptiles as well as birds, and everyone seems so enthusiastic especially when giving you information on animals or advice in general, they have so much stuff for all sorts of pets. Definitely check them out and they won’t disappoint.
I cant even begin to explain how amazing this store is . They had a wide variety of pets, toys, treats, and accessories too! The staff is always kind and happy to help if needed . They also have plenty of cool pets to check out such as fish, tortoises , bearded dragons, birds and many more.if there was six stars i would tottaly give it to them! Tottaly recomended!!!!!!!
