Pacific Yard House

This place had a really cool vibe inside. We loved the decor and being able to watch the games in a calm low light environment. The service staff was awesome throughout the whole experience. We enjoyed our lunch too! We ordered the loaded nachos with chicken and the smoke house chicken sandwich. Plenty of food for a reasonable price and the food quality was great! I'm going to be dreaming of that smoked chicken.

The food was pretty good here. The catfish was super smooth and buttery. The fries were also super crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. For an appetizer we got the fried mushrooms but I forgot to get a picture. The fried mushrooms were also really good and had a great texture and not too much bread.

After a bad experience the previous week, our group decided to give Pacific Yard House another chance. Unfortunately, this visit was even worse, and we will not be returning. We had a party of 10 on a Thursday evening and were the only guests on the patio for most of our visit. Our waitress was excellent—attentive, hardworking, and clearly doing her best—but the kitchen and management repeatedly let her and our table down. Several orders were incorrect. A steak ordered “as rare as possible” arrived medium-well. It was remade, but still was not prepared as requested. My catfish platter was barely warm, another guest described hers as rubbery, and an order of fish and chips arrived without the chips. A pizza ordered with bacon, pepperoni, and onions came with grilled onions that were not requested, and the bacon smelled and tasted off. Another guest ordered loaded potatoes as her entire meal. Without warning, she was charged $8 for a “double portion” she never requested. What arrived looked like approximately one cup of roasted potatoes and did not appear to be a double serving or a complete meal. When we asked for a manager, Andi said she had to answer to the kitchen manager and could not address the charge. She then said she was busy and walked away without resolving anything. When I explained the problems from this visit and the week before, I was told the owner, Teek, is usually at the newest location except on Tuesdays, is difficult for staff to reach, and that I would need to track him down myself rather than having management take my contact information and request a call. Mistakes happen. Repeated incorrect orders, missing food, questionable quality, unexplained charges, and dismissive management are a pattern. Our waitress deserved better support, and our group deserved food prepared correctly and concerns handled professionally. After two poor experiences in a row, Pacific Yard House has permanently lost our business. Our growing dinner group is now looking for a new restaurant or venue in Conroe or Montgomery County that can reliably accommodate us every Thursday from 6–8 p.m. We are seeking good food, dependable service, space for a growing group, and management that values consistent weekly business. I dined in at around 2pm on a Saturday. The place wasn’t very busy but it was clean and the wait staff ware fast and attentive. My drink was basically never empty and the food came out fast and amazing. I will say that I think the price of the chips and queso is a little high for the amount of queso you get, but the queso was good. I got the Pizza Margherita and it was really good. I will definitely be coming back when I return to Conroe.

First time here, and a twenty minute wait with eight visible open tables with a party of three. As far as server, great attention to detail. Kept us informed if we needed anything, and she was being tied up for a bit. Food, my husband got the chicken fried steak. He said it was good. He still likes Mason Jar, and Jerry's is better. I ordered the Spicy Chicken and Shrimp Pasta. Note to the cook, quit cutting the shrimp up. You might as well have said you get four bite sized shrimp in this dish. It's like they took a whole shrimp, butterflied it, then cut it into pieces after searing it. It is laughable. Go to Joe's and order Shrimp Pasta and Shrimp. This should be your standard. The chicken pieces are a joke too. One thing, you don't have to worry, the Tony's and pasta will fill the void. I was starving after a long day, and glad we stopped in. I'll pass right on by next time. This is no way was worth the price tag on a shrimp and chicken dish. My son had a great fried shrimp meal though.

Ordered on DoorDash. Item description said melted cheese and ground beef on fries. In my notes it said no onions. I received regular fries. Pasta is ok. Pictures look like fettuccine noodles, but it is spaghetti noodles.

Food so good I had to unbutton my jeans and take a nap in the car immediately after! Service was good too considering it was a slow day and if you disagree you’re probably just impatient, absolutely loved my first time here and will be back! WOW!

This place is okay just okay. The food is good. I had catfish and shrimp. The atmosphere is pleasant the only thing I could of,would say that's bad is . Till me I'm black without tilling me I'm black. The stand off, the looks, the passive aggressiveness.
