Petland Columbus Upper Arlington

It's a cute place in theory, but in reality it's not a good environment for the animals. The puppies are grouped in overcrowded enclosures. We played with 3 different puppies. All of them seemed nervous and didn't want to play. That could just be a coincidence, but it's something to note. The employees behaved as though they were just working at a fast food job, moving on from one puppy to the next. They didn't tell us the puppies' names, and they didn't clean the rooms after puppies were in there . The toys in the rooms are also too big for most of the puppies to use. So we couldn't really play with them, even if they wanted to. All of the animals were surrounded by people and were being handled recklessly. This isn't a healthy environment for any animal to be in. Another thing to add, some of the bunnies looked malnourished. I don't know much about bunnies, but their appearance was a little concerning. Overall, I would not recommend supporting this place. Their animals aren't kept in good conditions, they're constantly exposed to stressors, and they do not seem adequately cared for.

This pet store has got many lovely puppies, some cats and other animals. Servers are friendly. It is available to have a fun time with these dogs. Even though the price of one dog is too high for me, I would like to look around and play with them.

I come here all the time with my brother he loves the baby hamsters. The bunnies are super cute and nice. The puppies are amazing. Great selection of toys and bones and everything for dogs there’s ferrets there’s birds just really nice and fun experience.

Never Never purchase from these people. They scam you and get pups from unreputable breeders IN PUPPY FARMS….My vet gave me the name of a AKC breeder and I got 2 beautiful Chows for half the price that had been seen be seen by 2 vets and chipped. These people are stalking me to pay them for a dog I never got and I had to send a stop order. I am waiting to go to court!!!! These are my new babies!!!

Amazing experience. My daughter fell in love with her puppy immediately. Haleigh was extremely patient and helpful and kind. I've never had a better experience at a pet store. Huge shout out to Haleigh!!

We stopped in this store today because I wanted to look at the birds and my daughter wanted to look at the puppies. I have never seen a more friendly staff! The dogs look so happy and well cared for which, if you have been to other Petland locations you know, is not always the case. What surprised me the most though was the hamsters and the birds. The hamsters are friendly and want to be handled. The birds are not scared of people and want to interact. They are curious and sweet. You can tell the staff not only interact with the animals, they watch to make sure they aren’t mistreated by customers. The ferret was friendly and playful and the bunnies were also sweet. We didn’t interact with the kittens because they were new and were getting pictures taken but they were so cute! Pet stores in general are controversial but as far as animal care I really applaud this location for the way they care about the animals and the cleanliness of the enclosures and the store. Great job guys! I’m so glad we stopped in!

We bought our Enzo here! Best decision ever. He’s healthy, happy, and was well cared for at Pet land. We were helped by McKenna who was there from the meeting process to purchasing. She was thoughtful and informed us thoroughly so we could be confident we made the right choice. Definitely ask for McKenna when getting your fur baby!

We normally don’t have a problem here we’ve been coming here to see animals for the past 3 years and this lady was very rude and told us the cats were resting then 10 mins later someone else was holding the cat. She kept coming by and was picking at everything we were doing. Please educate this young lady😡😡😡 very disappointed in customer service
