Otherworld

We purchased tickets at the door. The website wasn't working well. Got in and got tickets for right away. I had my neice 11, and nephew 7 with me. They enjoyed the different rooms and the interactions. Make sure you keep them together, they could get lost easily if it's your first time. Each room is a different theme with colors and decorations. There is some crawling from room to room. We were they for just little over and hour. I lotted for 2 but they finished quickly. They have a restroom in thr front. They also have a bar/snack area. And a small gift shop. The staff were nice. I would like to see some of the exhibits be a little more interactive. The parking is easy to get into and out of. Pleanty of parking. Handicapped spots avaliable. Almost all exhibits are Handicapped accessible. A few are not. The cost seems a little steep for wht you are getting. $30 for adults and $28 for kids 3-12yrs old.

Otherworld is an amazing and unique place in Columbus. There were many fantastic rooms where we were feeling like walking in our dream. Definitely a wonderful place for dating or family. Service was wonderful. There were many lovely things in the gift shop. It could take 1-2 hours to get to every room.

My husband, our two young adult kids and I had a blast at Otherworld! Such a creative and fun place, and my kids really enjoyed solving the puzzles throughout! My husband and I enjoyed exploring the rooms together and discovering brand new things around every corner. Anyone of any age can enjoy this place but do keep in mind that there are some places that, if you would like to explore them, do require some crawling. I tend to be claustrophobic, but I didn’t have any problems with any of the experiences. Otherworld is not affiliated with Meow Wolf, but reminds us quite a bit of that franchise. I think the main difference would be that there is a more unified story thread and theming at Otherworld..It’s a huge place so give yourself 2-3 hours (or more) if you’d really like to immerse yourself! While you’re there, don’t forget to check out Game Grounds! It’s in the same building, but it’s a separate experience. Game Grounds offers larger-than-life group game experiences that are totally immersive. Some of them require some physicality so just keep that in mind and wear comfortable shoes!. All of it was totally worth the cost! We had a blast at both places! And definitely will be back when we travel to Columbus in the future.

This is such a cool interactive experience! It really is an Other world inside and I loved interacting with so many parts of the exhibits. It's truly such a blast and you can get lost in the connecting rooms for hours. This was my second time visiting this location and I also went to their sister location, both were amazing!!

We had alot of fun but I do feel its more for children than adults. We weren't sure. There are alot of interacting displays, lights, and sounds. Tons of different rooms to explore. I would highly recommend this place for kids.

Drove 2 1/2 hours to get there, bought my tickets online which for 2 of us ended up being a little more than $80. Got there to discover this place is housed in a deserted old plaza with a parking lot full of potholes, in the heart of skid row. Go in and realize that much money doesn’t even cover the game grounds. Anyhow, went through this supposed huge place twice in 48 minutes. Multiple drink areas? No. 1 counter in the main lobby. The code for a free gift doesn’t work so didn’t get that either. Most things in there are things to touch so there’s hand sanitizer dispensers all over the place…. Not one of them had anything in them. Waste of way too much money for admission. Waste of gas money, waste of my time, and I’m embarrassed that I talked my husband into this road trip date. I would NEVER go back there, and will make sure everyone I know doesn’t waste their time and money as well.

Had a great time here! Employees were extremely nice, even though the bar was closed they still gave me a canned drink. Honestly a great museum for anyone who loves aliens/sci-fi movies. Game room wasn't terrible, just wish they had more instructions on how to play certain games, took a couple tries to figure it out. All in all great experience here Definitely fun for people all ages!

This place was different and cool. We did the original Otherworld not the Carnival. We spent about three hours doing the puzzles while our kids explored and found all the hidden passages. Theres so much to look at and explore. We are excited to come back and try the Carnival the next time we are in town.
