This was my first time buying a used car from the States and for peace of mind I decided to go through a named dealership. However I got so nervous reading reviews about how difficult the negotiation process is and how everyone will try to scam you. While all that is important information, I’m SO grateful that that didn’t happen here. Emre was assigned to us and he is truly truly the best. He lets you know from the start that everything will be okay no matter what decision you make. Emre explained the whole process to us simply with no BS, didn’t push me to take on extras that I didn’t need in the moment and also didn’t push me to finance after we explained our reasons for not doing it. On top of that, he helped us with the test drive and the fueled the car after being very accommodating to our mechanic who was doing a pre purchase inspection. So glad we got to deal with him start to finish! Even gave us a call today to check how the car is running and to remind us to come in for a free oil change. This was actually quite a pleasant experience…very different from what I was expecting, especially after dodging all sorts of tricks from used car lots. Please ask for Emre if you go to VW of Downtown Chicago! The entire process took around 3.5-4hours, but worth it!
