Vincent’s is the most exceptional, neighborhood restaurant I’ve been to in Chicago to date. The vibe and feel of it is super cozy, and the staff is always so welcoming/accommodating. Must-gets are the Baked Brie, Gnocchi, Beet Salad, and the Burger🤤 Bonus points for chocolate cake dessert WOW!!! You can tell a lot of thought and effort is put behind each dish. And don’t get me started on the Side Salad martini- so savory and has a little kick. Consider me inspired to (attempt to) make it at home!

I took a group of coworkers here in my last visit to Chicago last month. It came highly recommended from a local and it did not disappoint. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and and very welcoming. The food was smart, fresh non-pretentious and extremely tasty. And the drinks were absolutely out of this world. I came home back to the Boston area thinking about that Guava Lava cocktail. Absolutely incredible. I will definitely be visiting again when I’m back in town.
Vincent’s is an American bistro known for its sophisticated yet cozy neighborhood atmosphere. Great place for a romantic evening or with a group of friends. We went with a large group of friends and were impressed by the service and delicious food. Definitely worth a visit.
It was my 2nd time. 1st visit was great but then 2nd was disappointed I ordered the mussels it was overcooked that made the mussels shrink and turn like peanut size and the aperol spritz was like a glass full of ice with just touch of aperol. Its not worth the price. Services was great, location and atmosphere!
I don’t know if it’s my age or nostalgia for service that’s harder to find these days, but I’ve reached the stage of life where I expect to be mildly disappointed (tragic). Last Friday, I was here with friends, and it was absolutely perfect. The weather was perfect, it was lively in all the right ways, and the staff were so kind and completely on it. The mussels were amazing (and those drinks!). At one point, I actually caught myself thinking, I’m really happy right now. Thank you for the reminder that there is still real pleasure to be found in a world that feels off. For a few great hours, my "disappointment brain" disappeared.
Had a life changing beet salad along with perfect service at a cute table next to an open window. Andy our server was fantastic. Highly recommend!
I hadn’t been back to Vincent in a while but was excited to see how it was under new ownership. Walking in felt like arriving at a friend’s house. We started with drinks at the bar and Kenny was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had a great time. Despite being packed full, we only waited a little bit before being sat at Adam’s table. He was friendly, funny, and very attentive. He even let us be far too friendly and made sure we were invited back. There was another server, Theo (I think) who kept the fun going along with Adam and they both made for a welcoming and entertaining environment. The grilled shrimp is amazing as an appetizer or meal. The burger doesn’t miss, and the half chicken was incredible. We finished the meal off with homemade cookies from Chef Luke who hand delivered them fresh out of the oven. I think the highlight was when one of the owners, Mitchel came by to check on us and we got to see him shine as he greeted one of the kids who was in the restaurant selling candy. I’ve seen them get shoo’d out or treated rudely in other places. But Mitchel was kind, gave them a Coke, spoke to them like people, and sent them on their way like he was glad to see them. We were already sure we were coming back, but after the service, food, and overall experience, it’s guaranteed.
Vincent consistently delivers! The new ownership has brought a fun new vitality and energy to our neighborhood favorite. The menu has a great variety and their Happy Hour is not to be missed. The staff are some of our favorite in the city. They really hustle and are always fun to chat with. I am especially glad it’s patio season so we can dine on their outdoor patio!
