Amazing experience! Our family went here last night for our last dinner in Chicago and it was wonderful. We were celebrating two graduations and a birthday and all recieved personalized notes from the staff congratulating them. Ryan was our primary server and he was extremely helpful and kind. Out of the 3 steaks we ordered, the 22oz bone-in ribeye was the best. I took off one star for atmosphere because the dining room was quite noisy for most of the dinner, but other than that the entire experience was above reproach. Thank you so much for making the night special for all of us.
An amazing meal from start to end. And I loved the private table and how they accommodated us.
We loved the simplicity of the cheese bread with salted butter, the pasta, pierogi, and crab cakes were delicious and fresh.
Both salads were good, though the Caesar had a lot of cheese (not a bad thing).
I loved the burger, it was meaty and filling, and the fries had a nice seasoning and were so fresh.
Finally the Wellington - the star of the show. Every bite was magnificent, it was cooked perfectly and I loved how it cut and served table side.
I wouldn’t recommend the Australian Wagyu ribeye, but I enjoyed the Mac, asparagus, and creamed spinach.
A notch below Bavettes for me, but certainly easier to get a reservation!
I can't even begin to explain how awesome the food AND the service was here. Austin, Shannon, the host team, bussers, food runners, all were very welcoming and kind. Everything -steaks, sides, sundae trolley, cocktails - even down to the bread was phenomenal, would definitely come back again. 100/10 experience ✨️ thank you to all who made this belated father's day dinner an unforgettable experience 🙏🏼
I went to Swift & Sons for my birthday, and it was hands down the best dinner experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, they made the night feel incredibly special.
They even helped make a special request happen we were able to have the magician come by on one of his off days, and he was amazing. If you ever have the chance to experience that, I highly recommend it. He was fun, engaging, and made the night feel really personal.
What really stood out was the attention to detail. They wrote and signed me a birthday card and even personalized the menus, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the night feel even more special.
The food was just as impressive. I had the filet mignon, and it was easily the best I’ve ever had perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. We also ordered several seafood appetizers, and everything was outstanding.
Between the service, the attention to detail, and the quality of the food, this was truly a standout experience. I would absolutely recommend Swift & Sons for any special occasion.
Came here for my wife’s birthday last weekend and really enjoyed our meal. It was our second time at swift and sons and it didn’t disappoint. Wine selection was great. They recommended we ordered our steak medium but we opted for medium rare and I’m really glad we did that. Leftovers may have even been better than at the restaurant! Our waitress treated us to the creme brûlée dessert which was unique but still good. S&S is a great steakhouse in West Loop and easily top 5 in Chicago.
Swift & Sons is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent drinks. We came here to celebrate our friend’s birthday and had a wonderful experience.
Our server, Jordan, was incredibly kind, respectful, and attentive, which made the night even better. We tried both the Chicago Restaurant Week menu and items from the regular menu, and there were plenty of great options to choose from.
The only dish we didn’t enjoy was the Chicken Schnitzel, which was a bit dry, but everything else was fantastic. Overall, we loved the ambiance, service, and food, and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommended!
Our server Mike was excellent and informative. The old fashioned cart was a real treat, as was the 12oz bone-in filet. 40th birthday well spent!
Exceptional service by the staff, ultra attentive to any questions or needs. I asked maybe like 10 questions about the food and menu and our servers were always able to explain things in detail. Food is consistently delicious too, their steak was grilled to perfection, and was so tender, flavorful, and delicious! Love their white cheddar mac and cheese, a5 Tartare, and grilled mushroom sides too. HH menu is also incredible value - crispy rock shrimp portion was huge, fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, pierogis were also delicious. Tuna crudo was a very small portion but the tuna was so succulent I couldn't even tell it was fish!
Have been here twice in 2 weeks now can't wait to go back again!
