Standard Bar and Grill

The food was good but nothing special. The waiter was friendly and kept glasses filled. The atmosphere was extremely loud for a sports bar. The atmosphere could have been great if there weren’t do many conflicting sounds drowning each other out. There were probably four separate sporting events on the TVs plus the usual sports bar music and all of them had their own connected speakers turned up to the max.

Great sports bar with walls full of televisions to watch your favorite sports. The have weekly specials on food, which by the way is super tasty. The Sunday brunch was delicious with bottomless mimosas until 2:00 pm. I highly recommend the standard in the heart of historic wicker park neighborhood in Chicago. My favorite server/bartenders and Alex and Meghan. They were super friendly and make you feel like family.

Definitely a great place to watch the game or just to grab a drink and/or dinner on any night. The large open atmosphere makes you feel like you can actually breath and relax at a bar. The food was awesome! Not to mention they don’t skimp on portions. Great specials and the bartender on Wednesday evenings is kick ass!

I went to watch an NBA finals game last week. Food: I had BBQ Wings. The ranch on the side was average. The wings were eh. I truly felt like the chicken wasn't seasoned at all and it was just cooked and the sauce was added at the end. Respectfully speaking, a load of seasoning isn't needed, just add seasonings before cooking. The taste was bland. The wings have potential. You got this Chef! Drinks: I had an Old Fashioned made by Hannah and WHEW! (In a good way) Service: It started going up (in a good way) once Hannah took over. She provided good service! Atmosphere: Average sports bar noise. Not too loud to where you had to yell. Final Thoughts: It was ok. It was standard (no pun intended lol). Hannah was great though!

Casual sports bar with trivia on Tuesday nights! I got the beef barbacoa tacos and nachos. Good portions of beef but the tortillas were way too small. Nachos were good but nothing special. Service was attentive considering the busy night. Good sports bar vibe.

The ultimate sports bar in Chicago. love coming here to catch big games. I always get the Barbacoa tacos and they never miss. Game audio really makes it feel like you’re at the stadium. Be sure to get a reservation or get there early for big games as they do fill up fast inside

Megan behind the bar was super helpful and on point. Karaoke available every Friday night

The bartender who works the quiz events on the second floor is a great guy. I don’t usually drink, but I order from him anyway because he’s always friendly and polite. Overall, the staff has never caused any issues, which is why I can recommend this bar. It’s a solid, straightforward place - exactly what you’d expect and need from a bar. They also host various events quite often.
