Great breakfast spot! The steak and eggs is amazing. Plus, the avocado toast was so good! They give you a very generous amount of avocado compared to other breakfast spots. The staff were very responsive, polite, and nice. They were all very accommodating to my dairy allergy as well. We will definitely be back!!

We’ve been here before, but wow — this place has gotten even better. We met the new owner today and he was genuinely kind and welcoming, and you can really feel that the restaurant is in great hands now. The food was excellent with zero complaints (and that includes our very honest 11-month-old, who happily ate everything we offered off our plates). I got steak and eggs off their NEW special menu and was not disappointed! Can’t wait to try other items off of it. For coffee, I tried the latte and it was really good, not too sweet — the kind that makes you already plan your next visit before you’ve finished it. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary, which I ‘just tried a sip of’, and it was surprisingly delicious — and I’m not usually a fan of alcoholic drinks at all. Overall, great food, great drinks, and a warm atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back and try more coffee drinks and other breakfast options. Highly recommend! ☕🥞

Our absolute favorite breakfast spot in Lakeview! The food here is consistently top notch. I always go for the Steak Skillet and pancakes—the skirt steak is perfectly cooked every time: tender, juicy, and never chewy. A close second is the Chorizo Skillet, which is the ultimate hangover cure—flavor-packed and satisfying. The wait staff is fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready with a coffee refill. This place never disappoints and is a must-visit for breakfast lovers! Update: 1:17/206 The loaded hash browns….best $8 you’ll spend, absolutely fantastic! They do not scrimp on the portion. The chicken and waffles were good, chicken was a little dry but that crispy skin and maple syrup was delicious.

Great place for a good breakfast. Had a skillet and pancake sampler. Also the Irish coffee. All of it was very good.

Super delicious spot. I got the BLT and it was AMAZING. the bacon is so thick and crispy but juicy at the same time. Also, not pictured are the pancakes. They are SO GOOD. Definitely will be coming back.

Easy to get seated on a Saturday noon time with outdoor seating so we could have our dog with us. Note there were some wasps around. The food was good and big and didn't take long to come out. The service was great. Classic brunch spot!

I think my favorite among all was pancake sampler, such a fun idea to taste all the pancakes without ordering every pancake. My fav was pumpkin flavored. I went on a Thursday morning for a brunch and didn’t have to wait. Vegetarian friendly.

Stopped by Pancake Café in Wrigleyville for brunch, and it was a solid choice. I ordered the red velvet pancakes—super fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness—and my friend had the sausage Benedict, which was hearty and satisfying. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly, though the place was pretty packed, so there was a bit of a wait. We spent around $40 for the two of us, which felt reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, a great local spot for brunch; just be prepared for a bit of a crowd during peak times.
