I got to work with Bob and Margaret at Motoworks Chicago, picking up my very first superbike, 2026 bmw s1000rr. If you know the feeling of getting your goal bike that you always wanted bc it meets all your needs, this was it for me. As a former M4 car guy owner, you can understand. I explain that because Bob and Margaret were so accommodating of me wanting to capture the whole purchase experience bc it was a big accomplishment for me. They didn’t rush me a single bit. I knew what I wanted and they were able to find it, have it available for me to ride home after work and complete the whole process so seamlessly. If you want that kind of experience because you sure deserve it, go see Bob. Then, you will get to work with Margaret too, maybe Ryan too, pending how you purchase it bc Ryan was that awesome as well. Will come back again to buy!

Had a great experience here. Bob sold me my bike and was very patient and knowledgeable. When I came to pick it up he walked me through everything and made sure I felt comfortable before taking off. Everyone else in the shop is super friendly as well, and always willing to just talk motorcycles and share their experiences. Margaret was great and even though I didn’t finance with them, she informed me about the packages they offered and didn’t pressure me into anything. That’s not even mentioning their great inventory of bikes, new and used and their services like winter storage. Really grateful to have this biz in our city!

I was a repeat client who not only purchased a Triumph from them years ago but also had them service a new BMW. The sales team has always been professional and nice, plus their service department was helpful last summer. After my last experience with them, I will never bring my motorcycles back to them for any type of service. As a repeat client, it shouldn't be that hard to set up appointments, but their communication is horrible. It literally took them three weeks to get back to me. It is next to impossible to actually reach someone direct. You are always told they're on the phone or meeting with someone and then it could be a day or three days before someone get back to you. The only person who was responsive in of both in my previous experiences recently was Jordan. For this recent experience, I was reached out to them for service on a newly acquired Triumph Tiger that included; addressing 3 nationwide recalls (replacing rear tire, bleeding clutch, detent arm spring) , adding crash bars , resolve a service light, and get an oil change. To their credit they did a nice job on equipment install. One recall with for replacing the back tire and the other recall with bleeding the clutch for a known issue. They got back to me that Triumph could not get me a replacement tire timely but would cover the cost of a new tire which they provided. They did put on a new tire with a 2024 date stamp. I was contacted about getting additional service and they recommended bleeding, even though that was already going to be covered by the recall. It was at that point I said just return my bike. I have other mechanics do oil changes. The kicker is that after they returned my bike and I was putting it in my garage I noticed that scratched one of my black side aluminum side panniers. I immediately sent before and after photos indicating the fresh scratch (with black marker that someone tried to conceal) It's 5" long and quite visible. It's not worth replacing but just bothersome. Jordan was very responsive and got back to me that they didn't know where that could've happened. Noah, who picked up and dropped off the motorcycle took video recordings both times and I asked them to review. I've yet to hear back from them. It was exhausting dealing with them. If you're looking to purchase a motorcycle, I would not hesitate to recommend their sales team, but avoid their service department for your sanity.

Just completed my first purchase with Motoworks Chicago. It was a great experience. Nina and Margaret were awesome to work with, they really rolled out the red carpet and made me feel special. Thank you both and everyone I didn’t get to formally meet, it was worth the 5 hour drive!

I wish every vehicle purchase would be this awesome! Nina—besides having one of the coolest hairstyles I’ve seen in ages—was a stellar help to my husband and me coming in to buy our Vespas. (Yes, we got 2️⃣! 🛵) She even found my heart’s desire—my beloved beige which I’ve affectionately named “Belleza.” Joel and James reassured us re: any Vespa maintenance we may need and they were fabulous, too. Margaret did all things finance (and can talk the talk about good music in Chicago as well!). Overall, could never say enough good things about the staff at Motoworks. Would 💯 refer friends and family… even the ones I don’t like.

Please take this 1-star review not just as negative feedback from an unhappy customer, but more importantly as an opportunity for your team to improve internal processes and provide better customer service - especially post-sales. I bought my first motorcycle, a brand new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, on April 25th and also paid for 6 additional accessories to be installed. I was informed that I would receive a call back confirming the delivery date for my bike. I waited a week, but there was no update. After that, every time I called, I kept getting rerouted between different teams with no clear confirmation or ownership. It honestly felt like all the teams were completely disconnected - Sales, Accessories, and Service. No one seemed to have a clear answer. After almost a month and constant follow-ups from my side, the bike was finally delivered on May 25th. My first installment payment was actually processed before I even received the motorcycle. And unfortunately, when the bike arrived, 2 out of the 6 accessories that I had already paid for were still missing. One of them was the engine guard - which the team had no clarity on and did not even know what happened to the sales order. The second was a phone mount - which has been backordered since the day I purchased the bike, and there is still no clear timeline on when it will arrive. I run a business myself and have worked in product and service companies for over a decade - customer experience is everything. At the same time, what you sell is not just a motorcycle. A motorcycle is an emotion. Experiences like this take away from the excitement, joy, and happiness someone feels when making such a special purchase. I have reached out to your team multiple times, and at this point, I am extremely disappointed. I am more than willing to update this review and improve my rating once the customer service, communication, and ownership improves - the same level of service every paying customer deserves. In closing, please consider this negative review as an opportunity to introspect and improve the gaps in execution and customer experience.

Bought my first new motorcycle from these guys 2 years ago, wonderful and knowledgeable staff! They do a bunch of events throughout the season too, very fun and chill. 5/5 would recommend.

I want to start by saying that everyone I interacted with was polite and professional. This review is not meant to bad-mouth any individual employee. Rather, it reflects my overall experience with the service department after purchasing a brand-new 2025 BMW S1000RR from this dealership. At around 400 miles, before even reaching the first 600-mile service, I noticed an oil leak. I brought the motorcycle in for repair and waited approximately three weeks to get it back. Unfortunately, after bringing it home, I discovered that the bike was still leaking oil. I then had to return it for a second repair, which took about another week before the issue was finally resolved. Later, the brakes became spongy and required service under warranty. While the repair itself was covered, I still waited roughly two weeks for what ultimately amounted to a brake fluid flush. My biggest concern came during the 6,000-mile service. From the day I purchased the motorcycle, the quick shifter struggled to upshift properly at high RPMs and higher speeds. During the service, the technicians confirmed there was an issue. However, it took approximately three months before I received the bike back. When I finally picked it up, I was extremely disappointed. The motorcycle had new scratches on the fairings and fuel tank, rust on a chain that I had carefully maintained, rust on several bolts, and a brake light sensor issue that was not present before the service. None of these problems existed when I dropped the bike off. After spending roughly $600 on the 6,000-mile service, I expected my motorcycle to be returned in equal or better condition than when it arrived. Instead, it came back with cosmetic damage and additional issues that required attention. Again, the staff were always courteous, and I appreciate their professionalism. However, based on my experience, the quality of service has fallen well below what I would expect from a BMW dealership.
