La Michoacana Premium

So delicious! Great customer service! Thank you for answering all of my questions! Highly recommend! Has some great spots for photo ops (butterfly wings and swings). We tried the gazpacho (Michoacan style), elote, agua de horchata, agua de guayaba (deliciosa), y nieve de Ferrero y una de chicle. Took me back to Michoacán for a few minutes ^_^

I recently had the chance to try La Michoacana and oh my goodness it was so delicious! I never knew how many choices of treats were available, it was hard to just choose one. I ordered the Gaspacho along with the flamin hots and cheese and the Mangoneada for my girlfriend. We had the best time ever sitting in my trunk while enjoying our treats. I know I’ll be coming back sooner than later.

I loved the pine nut ice cream. Oooo, so creamy, but the lime ice has a grainy, not natural feel of true lime ice. The flavor was off. Little expensive $$. I love the variety of palletas aka popsicles. Those are delicious and remind me of my childhood. I used to listen for the campanitas (bells) the once a day little push cart pushed by the palletero around the neighborhood we called "La Selva" that everyone knew by name. Overall the service was fast and friendly and seating was available.

Suuuch good ice cream! So creamy and real fresh fruit in the flavors. (Strawberry cheese cake was the best version of that I’ve had period). Like an endless amount of flavors to try and paletas too. Great elote as well and service was top notch at 11PM on a Saturday. I’ll be back, thanks!

This is a relaxed ice cream bar with every flavor ice cream, popsicle and drink flavor you could imagine. They feature over 50 flavors literally and the majority of the flavors are uniquely Mexican like pine nut, cucumber, mango chili, papaya etc… We tried the tamarind and papaya flavors which were very good. They have outdoor seating and plenty of colorful indoor seating too. There is a flavor of ice cream and cold drink for everyone!

This place sucks I payed $24 for 2 medium yogurts with LITERALLY just bananas, almonds, granola and coconut flakes. They forgot the add one of the toppings. I didn’t notice until I had walked out and sat in my car, when back to tell them if they can add it on top or on the side the worker preceded to tell me it would be a charge for the extra topping. I told her why? It was on they’re end where they didn’t add it. End off story that was very dumb and inconvenient you’d think if your spending the money they would just add the 1 topping that they forgot and not charge for it.

Visiting Chicago to see family & they have been taking me La Michoacana & I have to say this place is great. All kinds of desserts, ice cream & snacks. The selection is out of this world. I definitely recommend.

Super cheap on the amount they give you. I ordered a 2 medium elotes. One with Cheetos and one without. They just put less elote and more Cheetos on one. Also, the one without Cheetos looked like a soup of mayo with little bits of corn. If your not willing to serve the right amount don’t charge through the roof prices. $20.00 for two elotes is absurd.
