Kennedy Rooftop

Kennedy Rooftop is such a cute spot and the perfect place to spend a summer evening in Chicago! There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and I appreciated that they had lots of heaters available for cooler nights. We started with drinks, and the Peartini was definitely the star of the night, super unique, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the non-alcoholic mojito and really enjoyed it as well. For food, we shared the burrata, flatbread, and sliders. Everything was tasty, but the sliders were my personal favorite and something I’d definitely order again. One thing that stood out was that the prices felt much more reasonable compared to many other rooftop bars in the city. Between the great food and drinks, beautiful skyline views, and relaxed atmosphere, Kennedy Rooftop is a spot I’d happily return to. Bonus: they also have live music on Tuesdays!

I really wanted to give this place a better rating but unfortunately the wait staff, or lack thereof is ruining the overall experience you can have here. Service is incredibly SLOW and my waiter was also unfortunately extremely rude and unhelpful. I don’t know what this persons name was, but I included a picture of my server for the owner to reference. They desperately need to be retrained on professionalism and also be reminded to leave their personal attitude at the door and move quicker. Margaritas tasted great and were delivered fairly quickly in comparison to the time it took for the waiter to even come take my order. So the bartenders are not the problem. Although I had waited so long to get my order taken, I got up and had to get a manager, which is who brought my drink. Also, there was one white male server about 5’10, with a salt and pepper hair and beard that was very kind and attentive, even though he wasn’t even my server! He was awesome and is doing a great job! Make him a trainer ir something! But overall it seems they need a larger waitstaff to handle the volume, because other tables tonight seemed yo have had a similar experience to me. Otherwise this spot has lots of potential to be a premier venue. With an INCREDIBLE view of the Chicago skyline, and perfect breeze on the rooftop of the Hyatt hotel in West Town, it will easily be a favorite amongst my colleagues and I for after work happy hour. I would recommend you stop in for the $8 margs and $3 tacos on Tuesdays, but only AFTER they hire more, better quality help! I will be back to review again soon. 😊❤️

The Kennedy Rooftop at the Hyatt Place Chicago / Wicker Park is such a vibe! The skyline views are absolutely stunning, especially as rooftop season approaches in Chicago. I stopped by for happy hour and loved that they offer $10 cocktails and $10 bites Monday through Friday from 4–6 PM. The seasonal spritz and espresso martini were both delicious, and the sliders and flatbread paired perfectly with the drinks. Great atmosphere, beautiful views, and the perfect spot to unwind after work. Definitely adding this rooftop to my regular rotation!

I had such a great experience dining in one of the heated igloos at Kennedy Rooftop. The igloo was warm, cozy, and the skyline views made it the perfect winter night out. We ordered the Sliders, Buffalo Chicken Dip, and the Mushroom Pesto Flatbread with smoked gouda, pesto, and truffle oil. The service was so friendly and attentive throughout, and there is even a speaker in the igloos you can connect to! Overall, a really fun and festive winter dining experience in Chicago for a date or a group outing. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy seasonal spot with great views.

Amazing views. Good tables, chairs, couches. Outdoor heaters. Food is average, but the view is really the draw here!

Kennedy Rooftop on the 7th floor of the Hyatt in Wicker Park is an absolute gem! The views of the Chicago skyline are stunning and create the perfect backdrop for a night out. The cocktails were delicious, and the vibe was just right. It was lively but still comfortable. I had good service from my waitress, Fernanda, who was attentive, and friendly. If you’re looking for great drinks, a great atmosphere, and some of the best rooftop views in the city, Kennedy Rooftop is a must-visit! A plus that’s it’s located in the hotel and free and convenient parking nearby on the street.

I stopped by Kennedy Rooftop for Taco Tuesday and had such a great time! The rooftop itself has an amazing atmosphere with beautiful views of the city, making it a perfect spot to unwind after work or meet up with friends. The Taco Tuesday specials are definitely worth checking out. It’s only $3 a taco and the drink deals made the experience even better. Between the margaritas, beers, and live music, the whole evening had a fun, energetic vibe without feeling overcrowded. I’ll definitely be back for another Taco Tuesday and those views….

Beautiful rooftop bar with panoramic views of the Chicago skyline! My daughter, her fiancé and I visited the restaurant / bar one evening while staying at the hotel for their wedding. Very nice vibe, comfy seating and great service from Nicole. Chicken kabobs, caprese, and a rooftop burger along with a couple NA beers - all good. Piped in music made it a little hard to have conversation and it was little pricey. But you can’t get views like that every.
