Immm Rice & Beyond

First time at Immm Rice was a good one. Cute Thai restaurant in Uptown with a charming interior. Tom Kha soup was a great way to start our dinner. We both ordered the Kuay Tiew Ruea (Boat Noodles) and they were pretty good. Dessert was our favorite, especially the Ka Nom Toey (steamed rice custard). I could eat a meal just of that!

Great service, ambiance, and food. The Pad Khee Mai Beef is so sweet and savory, The Khao Nar Neur was so tasty, the drunken noodles so good. It was the perfect mix of chewy and crunchy. 10/10 recommend.

A new Thai place that we discovered by chance. Nice ambience, good service and excellent food. It’s been long time we found a restaurant that had the flavor of authentic Thai cuisine. Had the Pad Thai chicken and Pad See Ew Beef. Delicious!

I was here recently for dinner with my friends. We sat outside for dinner which was really nice. The prices were reasonable. We ordered the Tofu Penang curry, Pad See Eww with chicken and chicken Gyoza. The food was great! My only complaint was the service. While the food came out fast, our server was very busy considering that the restaurant was not very crowded. I’d still come back if i’m in Uptown again!

What can be said about immm? Should I bring up the amazing food? The friendly service? The friendly, inviting atmosphere? Or maybe the unique drink selection that perfectly embodies their food? I could not be happier with my experience.

@immmchicago Everything was awesome, this might be my favorite Thai restaurant of all time. The pad se ew and the fried chicken skin is a must recommend. The service was excellent, the tables were clean, and also easy parking.

No idea why this place is so highly rated. Easily the worst Tom Yum soup, or probably any kind of soup, that I have had in Chicago. It had pieces of tomato and it had so much lemon that you could barely tell it’s soup. The panang curry with garlic rice was fine, decent but looked much better compared to the soup. Finally, the mango sticky rice. This restaurant skimped out so bad on the mango, it’s barely a fourth of a mango. Overall, the chef, manager and owner should be concerned and ashamed of calling this thai food. Below average food, nothing worthwhile about this whole experience. I would stay away, these reviews don’t tell you the truth

We have been coming here for over 8 years and have moved to Milwaukee and still eat here when we visit. The khao soi and pad see ew are an absolute must as well as the mango sticky rice when it’s in season. If you’re in the Chicago area, I highly recommend stopping here!
