I had a really disappointing experience with Honda service. I brought my car in for what was supposed to be a simple car wash, but it came back covered in white water spots that had dried all over the surface. There were also streaks all over the windows, making it look like it hadn’t even been cleaned properly. Even worse, I later noticed several scratches that definitely weren’t there before. I’ve only had my car for a week and have been extremely careful with it, so it’s frustrating to see it come back in worse condition than when I dropped it off. For a service they advertise as a “free car wash,” I’d honestly rather they not offer it at all if this is the result. On top of that, the customer service was lacking. Ismael didn’t seem engaged or interested in helping—he had one AirPod in the whole time and didn’t come across as a problem solver. It just added to the overall poor experience. If you do go here, I’d recommend avoiding him and asking for Giovanni instead. Overall, very disappointing.

I’ve now purchased my fifth vehicle from Honda of Downtown Chicago, and that alone should say everything about my experience. Every time I walk through their doors, I’m treated with professionalism, honesty, and genuine respect. Gary, the GM, runs a first-class operation and truly understands what customer care should look like. Darius in service has always been reliable and helpful, making sure everything stays running perfectly long after the sale. Jon in finance makes the paperwork process smooth and stress-free. Most recently, Wilfredo helped me with my purchase, and he made the experience easy, transparent, and enjoyable from start to finish. It’s rare to find a dealership you can trust year after year, but this team continues to earn my business. Highly recommended.

I sold my car here this past week and it was a great experience. Connie and the team greeted me warmly and I was able to walk out with a check within 1.5 hours. I was also given a Lyft voucher which is very handy for my ride home. The price is comparable to other places I spoke with. They truly made it like a breeze.

Purchased a very gently used car from HoDC. Reid was our salesperson and we had a great experience with him; he is an excellent communicator and fair negotiator. We also worked with Jennifer from Finance and had a great interaction with her as well. She had a wealth of industry experience pertinent to this transaction and was able to answer all my questions. The sales process was pretty straightforward and I never felt pressured to buy from either of them. The car I purchased was in great shape and ready to go for the test drive. I would be happy to do business with them in the future.

Giovanni took care of me from beginning to end, sending me updates about my car and even allowing me to negotiate on certain aspects I wanted done. He provided me with a tier list of the most important tasks and those that could likely be postponed. I’ve tried other car repair shops just to save money, but I know I’m getting the best service here. They even fixed one of my tail lights for me. Additionally, they dropped off the car at my workplace. The entire process was incredibly smooth and hassle-free.

Yesterday I had a flat tire right before a long trip home and wasn’t sure what to do. Huge shoutout to this location and Darrius Dorsey for his attentiveness and patience in helping me, even as they were about to close. They were able to replace my tire and didn’t charge me for the labor, which was incredibly kind and appreciated. Considering I drive an Acura, I’m really grateful they were willing to help me at the last minute. Great and prompt customer service and a very positive experience overall, thank you again! If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!

Well first of all i'm happy with my purchase it was my first time owning a honda crv and i love it eventho it's expensive but i know it will last forever longer than my previous marriage... Wilfredo is my sales person he is very helpful, friendly make you feel comfortable, very communicative,knowledgeable, and professional. everyone seems nice and clean but crowded and i will highly recommend to my friends. thank you again!
