A lovely spot to meet your breakfast craving! They have an expansive diner menu full of omelettes, burgers, desserts, and more! I got the chorizo omelette with a side of hash browns and pancakes and to wash it down - apple juice! It was satisfying, I was wanting a good breakfast meal for a while and Golden Apple delivered! Plus you can’t beat 24 hour availability. They have plenty of space and they are in a beautiful part of the neighborhood directly across from a church built in the 1800s! Free parking in the nearby residential street and paid parking even closer.
This place has that classic diner feel with a menu full of breakfast and comfort food favorites. The servings are big, the coffee keeps coming, and everything is served hot and fresh. The staff is friendly and quick, which makes the experience even better. It’s the kind of spot you can count on for a laid-back, satisfying meal any time of day.
We came in Chicago Illinois around 4am. Only 2 people there dining. I found this place online 24 hours. First of all the restaurant is surrounded by an unattractive part of town. The inside at first looked ok went into the bathroom and it was worn and needed updated. Ordered the gravy biscuit. First off biscuit was hard gravy tasted like a greasy slime and there was something crunchy on the gravy seemed like egg shells. I would skip this place and go somewhere else. It was an awful experience and the prices were outrageous.
My son and I had such a great experience here. We split the strawberry French toast and a scrambled egg. I said we were in a bit of a hurry and they exceeded my expectations. They even gave my son a balloon for his birthday and told him to grab an extra dum dum sucker on his way out to give to me.
We were seated immediately and had great service with delicious food! We will be back. I may even try to bring all my kids here solo! It's a rare place that can be this welcoming and accommodating.

Solid early morning diner with everything you'd expect. Menu is very large and covers everything from breakfast to dinner.
We went for an early 5am breakfast and really enjoyed both of our picks. The corn beef hash was well seasoned and generously portioned and the French toast had a bit of turmeric added to give it a nice golden color.
Definitely worth your time off you're up early or stayed up too late.

Saw this place on the road and had to come back when we got hungry. The vibes are immaculate, the interior is lit with gold colored lighting and is very cozy.
The food was pretty good, and ordering tea got us a teapot with water plus lemon slices and honey. I had the French connection, French toast plus scrambled eggs, and my sister had the 2222 breakfast. The bacon and syrup were very high quality, though the eggs could have used more salt. We also got a cup of French onion soup, which tasted very bell pepper-y (unique!)
The staff was kind and the hostess was super friendly as we paid our check. My sister was super impressed and wants to come back next time we're in the city!
