Overall, I was quite pleased with the overall dining experience today. While the prices are on the higher side and parking is hard to find on a busy Thursday night, the food is quite good. I was especially pleased with the glass noodles and the moo shu. I thought the tofu was a bit one note, but everything else was enjoyable and I would recommend this place for vegetarians. The banana dumplings were an excellent way to end the meal, given the strong flavors from the savory courses. Overall, happy that I finally made it here and will be excited to bring my friends who enjoy duck to come check it out.

I went here for my anniversary and the atmosphere of the place was really pretty! We got the bao buns, duck fried rice, chicken wings, the chili chicken and the banana dessert (10/10). The portions were really good and huge so I recommend not over doing it when you order. And I would deff come back again for the bao buns and dessert! The only reason I gave it a four stars was because one of the workers had made us move seats, which I found weird since we were already mid eating. Me and my boyfriend were sitting in the same side of the booth not even pass the table or in anyone’s way or space to get out and we were told that we couldn’t do that because we were ruining the flow of traffic by sitting next to each other. But we didn’t want to make a big deal so we just said okay. But when my bf had moved across from me, the waitress could no longer really reach the other table since now my bf is in his “designated” seat and he’s somewhat in the way because the other table was like a corner table. So every time a worker gave something to the other table they kept accidentally bumping into my bf. So I’m just confused how sitting next to each other ruined the flow of traffic when in reality when we moved it made it worse. My thing is we didn’t really care about moving because I work in customer service also and they’re just doing their job, but if it was a big a rule we would’ve just preferred to be told beforehand rather than when we were eating and already settled in. But nonetheless it’s a good restaurant and I would still come back :)

The General Tso's chicken is the dish most people have a complicated relationship with from their delivery days, and Izard's version reframes it completely: dark meat, properly crisped, in a sauce that has real complexity and depth, bright and sticky and not cloyingly sweet. It's the dish you put on the table first and then realize is gone before everything else arrives. The pork and chive potstickers are the dumplings most worth ordering, browned and juicy and served with a dipping sauce that has enough vinegar and chile to make the whole thing feel alive. The dan dan noodles are the noodle dish that keeps showing up as the thing regulars order every time, ground pork in a sesame and chili sauce with the right amount of heat that builds as you eat rather than landing all at once. We also had the beef short rib with scallion pancake, which is the large-format order best suited for sharing and best consumed with chopsticks and no plan. The soft serve matcha dessert at the end is light and slightly bitter and exactly the right way to close a meal that had been rich and bold throughout. Reservations are recommended. Weeknight walk-ins are more manageable than weekend evenings.

Service, Food, Atmosphere all 5 Star. The pork bow buns were my favorite of all time bow. The Dan Dan Slap Noodles were delicious! I have no real clue what the main flavor was but they were spicy funky goodness. Definitely worth going to.

Had a great experience at Duck Duck Goat, which offers an inventive take on Chinese-American cuisine inspired by Chef Stephanie Izard’s travels. I especially loved the goat spring rolls, they were delicious, and the sauce served on the side complemented them perfectly. The special pork bao buns with a mustard drizzle were excellent as well, and the soup dumplings tasted quite good. My wife ordered the Taiwanese beef noodles, which were equally delectable and came with a vibrant, beautiful presentation. The décor and ambience are eclectic, with a Chinoiserie-inspired style and striking Chinese-themed wallpapers that give the setting an intriguing global character. It’s clearly a very popular spot, so I would highly recommend making a reservation well in advance.

Amazing solo brunch here today! Had the barbecue bao buns, Cold chili noodles, and vegetable spring rolls. Absolutely delicious in plenty of food for one. For my drink I had the seasonal mimosa which was hibiscus. Very aromatic and a little too fragrant at first but after the first sip I was hooked! Definitely coming back and trying other things and bringing people with me!

Got sat in such a beautiful room! The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and I loved the lighting. The person who took care of us was extraordinary!! It was my birthday dinner and they surprised me with a Personalized card and some of their homemade mango vanilla ice cream with a candle lit!! The food was incredible and delicious I wish I got a picture of the other dishes we got! But the flavors were totally worth it. Cocktails were great too. Request a reservation

I’m honestly confused by the high ratings for this spot. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese flavors, this isn't it. The menu seems designed for a specific demographic that hasn't experienced the real deal. Most dishes managed to be incredibly salty or oily while simultaneously lacking any depth of flavor. The Jiaozi, duck fried rice, and dan dan noodles were the only edible parts of the meal, but even those were mediocre at best. Save your money and head to Chinatown instead.
