Great market with a really nice produce and dry goods section. Pretty much any legume or grain you need to find they still have. Also has a grab and go section that usually has a nice vegan option. Tofu selection is kinda bad and not great for mock meats but really nice for pantry staples and produce.

Awesome neighborhood market. Fresh and cheap veg and fruit. Crazy assortment of beers and wines form across the world. Best priced arrachera. Everyone who works there is so nice. Did I mention fresh baked breads? Yep, they have it all!

The variety of fresh affordable foods here is amazing. Produce selection is full fresh and clean. Don’t forget the pastries and bakery Oh goodness the cake I purchased was so delicious!

#1 best market in town, maybe the world?? I've lived near Devon Market sense I first moved to Chicago and frankly I could never move. Can't be without walking distance to this place! An incredible selection, coffee beans from local shops, bulk herbs for tea, and produce is always in great shape. They also always have incredible fresh foods (SO MANY DELIGHTS, ready to eat meals, sushi is fire, baked goods like you could only dream of, Shawarma that will change your life) plus amazing treats you didn't know you needed like fig everything, rose jam, fresh made pico and so much more. 1000000 / 10 stars.

Great store with friendly staff overall. Unfortunately, today (March 14, 2026 13:14 pm) a cashier was very rough with my items. She aggressively shook my basket (nearly dropping a glass bottle and soft products) and threw everything hard onto the bagging counter. The customer before me was served normally. Quite disappointing.

i really wanted couscous and i foubd couscous because its like so i was worried i woildnt find couscous because at my home land house h e b has that and i was worried devon market would not have this but i so i looked on the rice and pasta island and so i was worried at firs there wouldnt be tthwee because theee was pasta at first but couscous was there i just had to keep walking. good place to go shop.

I have been to this store many times. But today I encountered the rudeness of the cashier. Instead of helping me pack my purchases, she preferred to do her own business, counting money at the cash register. I was still packing my purchases when she had already completed her cash count. When I asked why she did not help me, she replied that these are the rules if I pack food in my own bag and I need to ask her separately for help. Also, we had been speaking Russian the entire time; then, after I corrected her on a specific word, the cashier replied, "Thank God I'm not Russian." I find this completely unacceptable. I don't think I'll want to visit this store again. The store itself has a decent selection.
