Dearborn Station

Off to the east of the station are excellent examples of the variety of cobel stones that paved our streets long ago. Station is a ghost of itself as it was turned into offices and shops surrounded by sprawling condominium complexes. If you were not aware of the stations past you today could not tell that it was a train station at one time.

I love the history behind the architecture. 17,000 people per day in the early 1900's !!! Amazing ✨️

Beautiful historic building although much of it has been converted to restaurants or offices and you can't see to much of the building. What you can see, has the feeling of a 1980's renovation vs the historic structure it is. The exterior was the best part i found although it does serve as a nice landmark for bars and restaurants if you're looking for a spot to go out.

This place means a lot. The train station where Swami Vivekananda first arrived in Chicago. The station is now preserved as a library, cafe, Yoga studio, etc. Looks beautiful and organized :)

This was a great experience for us a very good friend of ours father used to work for the railroad and now she's a patron of the historic railroad society and she gave us a short tour ,which we loved and next time we will sign up for the full tour.

Beautiful place to walk around both in the morning and at night but I will say that the place is a little shady and not the most "safe place" but that could me being overly cautious there many stores all around other then that is a great place to take a group of friends or your family member but to be safe don't go alone.

Beautiful train Station, made of Red bricks, let along I couldn't find Adam's Ribs somewhere near an had to leave without ribs, slaw and bbq-sauce (ref. to MASH)

Nice chill spot. Great for date night. Good parking options
