Was looking at buying police vehicles for a long time, saw a lot of posts with the same background and decided to look into where this location was, found that this was the spot in Chicago, IL that sells tons of used and new police vehicles. Contacted them early January, Ted was the one helping me with purchasing the vehicle, helped me figure out how to purchase from across the US, been in contact for almost 4 weeks, sent me videos of different vehicles and was very honest about the quality they put in to selling these cars. Very happy with his service to me. I really appreciate them making the car buying process so simple. Picked it up from Chicago and drove it all the way back to Houston, TX, (1,000 miles) with no issues at all. Vehicle ran perfect and had some small cosmetic things I fixed fairly cheap, have an Instagram page for it now and been getting a lot of reactions @titaniumfpiu, over 20+ people have contacted me and asked where I got this one from and I recommended y’all every time. This is a late review since I bought my caprice from them 5yrs ago but I will say it was an amazing experience. They worked with my a little on the price and with my schedule at the time. I love the caprice I purchased from them and have turned it into quite the little hot rod. I wish they offered financing..maybe that has changed. All the cars were presented very clean and in good running order..at least the ones I looked over. That being said these are ex service vehicles and in most cases lived a life as such. Most departments are pretty good on maintenance but just know things do wear out faster than a civilian vehicle. Ted I’m not sure if you still work there but thanks for my caprice my guy!!

This was one of the best dealership experiences I've had in the last 20 years. I contacted them via email with a list of vehicles that I was hoping to look at. When I arrived at their yard they had pulled all the vehicles out and the keys were in them. They allowed me to take them on a test drive around the City to see which ones I liked. I ended up purchasing a 2020 Chevy Tahoe two-wheel drive PPV. It had 88,000 mi on it but drove like a dream. The interior was very clean for a police vehicle. It did not appear to have ever had a cage in it, likely a supervisor's vehicle. The price was exceptional and I drove the vehicle home that day. They do not do on-site financing so be prepared to bring or acquire a cashier's check. The folks at Chicago motor will see me again for sure, and my next purchase will likely be one of the more expensive vehicles they have.

I purchased my first vehicle from Ted, a 2018 PIU, less than a month ago. It wasn’t the vehicle that I originally went to look at but we were very pleased with the selection in CMI’s inventory and easily found several others that would meet our needs. In the first three weeks we found a couple things that we didn’t immediately notice during the test drive and contacted CMI. Ted encouraged us to bring the vehicle back and immediately made the repairs without question. They really stand behind their vehicles and have a great staff of mechanics. Miguel even did a couple things we didn’t expect. When I returned a couple days later to pick up the vehicle, I found it ready and waiting and driving like new. They even had it all washed and cleaned up. I was so pleased with the experience that I purchased another vehicle for my work and picked it up the very next day. We will use the first one as a personal vehicle now. When I need the next one, CMI will definitely be the first place I look.

So I live in Louisville ky and I have been looking for a reliable used vehicle especially a retire law enforcement vehicle that I can use for the fire department and correction where im actually a sworn in peace officer. I finally found this business and did my research. I talked to these people back and fourth for 2 months trying to find my vehicle. I have been struggling a little with my wife health and graduating in February from the academy for Correction. Yes before you say anything about correction, the department i work for we are actually sworn in peace officer. But anyway I bought this 2019 Dodge Durango Pursuit in October 2025 and been having it now since December 2025 with 2600 miles put on it. When they delivered it I fell in love with it. There was no problem with the vehicle except for minor paint scratches but other then that everything that was shown on their website was all legit. I seriously would buy from them again and will tell other people I work with about them. Thank you again guys im definitely consider you guys like family.

I’m from Tennessee and purchased a Ford Explorer on 8/18/25 from Chicago Motors. So far so good! In fact I’m really impressed with how clean it is and how perfectly it rides and drives. The sales staff is top notch and very knowledgeable. They had me in and out super quick with zero hassles. I highly recommend this dealership!!

I had a great experience purchasing my vehicle from this dealership, especially considering they specialize in government and law enforcement units. From the initial inquiry, Ted was extremely responsive and helpful. He took the time to walk me through the vehicle, including the Carfax and all the important details, which made me feel confident in what I was getting. The payment and documentation process was very straightforward. I wired the funds, received the bill of sale promptly, and the title was shipped out the same day—no delays or confusion. As for delivery, the vehicle made it to Boston in under a week. I was provided with courier details and an estimated delivery date, and it actually arrived earlier than expected. When it showed up, the vehicle was clean and exactly as described. I did notice a missing center cap on one of the wheels, but after mentioning it to Ted, he immediately ordered a replacement—great follow-through. I had the vehicle checked out at my shop after delivery, and everything came back solid. The only things I needed were replacements for the main 12V battery and the smaller auxiliary battery, which Ted reimbursed me for without any hassle. Daily driving has been smooth so far. The vehicle passed Massachusetts inspection with no issues, and I even discovered some nice surprises like FordPass integration and built-in WiFi—remote start, lock/unlock, tracking, and hotspot capability are awesome features to have. There are a few minor dings and scratches, but that’s expected with a former work vehicle and doesn’t take away from its overall value. Fuel economy has been great! For a V6 AWD—I’m seeing high teens to mid-20s depending on driving conditions. Usually Less than $60 to fill up and lasts me a while. Overall, a very positive experience from start to finish. Honest communication, smooth transaction, and solid post-sale support. Would definitely recommend.
