★★★★☆Got a caprese sandwich and a chai latte. Sandwich was pretty good and a fair price, not the most filling but a good price. Staff were efficient and polite. The chai was on the sweeter side, I thought the cinnamon on top was a little silly because it’s just sitting on top of the ice and doesn’t really contribute any flavor to the tea. Just kinda tastes weird as you’re sipping. I came here a few years ago and remember it was just kinda okay, but I do feel like the quality has gone up a bit since I was last here

★★★☆☆Sandwich and coffee was decent. Interior is less “deco” than the printer’s row location. I take off some stars because they only offer to-go cups, no mugs for your coffee. I don’t like to produce trash every time I take a coffee!
Cafe Deko has a really unique interior with cool Art Deco decor that makes it stand out from other coffee shops in Chicago. The vibe is cozy and stylish, and I enjoyed my coffee and the friendly service. It can get a little busy, but overall it’s a great place to relax. Four stars!
Very friendly attentive baristas made a visit here worthwhile. Slightly European vibe but the furniture looks like it came from Funique furniture. Not super comfortable either. The "no outside food or drink" signs conspicuous on every table could be subtle...maybe use an art deco font...?
A stylish and cozy café with excellent coffee, fresh pastries, and a pleasant atmosphere for a morning or lunch. The dishes are fresh and delicious, and the service is friendly and attentive.
Totally Loving the interior space Art Deco vibe! Gorgeous gold and green wallpapers, golden monkey sconces and windows opening the space up to provide a cozy and unique environment for coffee and catching up with friends. It does get packed on Sunday mornings so prepare to wait in line for a delicious Cafe Au Lait or Flat White or Drip coffee, also tables fill up quickly and people tend to camp out on laptops or with their screens. Loved our time at Cafe Deko! Such a great atmosphere, with beautiful decor. Our coffee drinks were delicious and the vegan scone was the best I’ve had! Looking forward to visiting again.
This place is amazing! I love the freddo cappuccino, a Greek classic! I lived up the street from the one on Diversey for years and would hit up Deko basically every morning. They are super freakin busy on the weekends. Get here early or like prepare to wait in line. Overall, a great vibe and a great coffee!
