Butch McGuire's provides a lively crowd and good Happy Hour deals on Division. Stopped in and enjoyed people watching from the front awning. Service was a bit slow at first as it was the start of Trivia night, but once order was taken out server checked on us several times. Food came out in a jiffy... The BBQ ribs were on special and did not disappoint, as they were dry rubbed and tender. The wings were tossed well in hot bbq, crispy and definitely shareable. The early crowd was a good mix of neighbors and travelers. Would definitely come back to Butch McGuire's.
The ribs were so tender and the BBQ sauce was so good. Their hot chocolate is pretty good too. The waitress was sweet and wasnt in a rush to take out order. She made sure we had everything we needed. Great ambiance and very laid back. I love that the whole bar is decorated with lights and have instruments hanging from the walls. Its so close to public parking areas as well so ur not walking far at all to get here.
One of the best spots in Chicago with an amazing team that truly makes the place special. You can really tell the staff loves working there, and that energy shows in both their service and the food. The whole experience has great vibes from start to finish.
It is a great Irish pub with a lot to look at, creating a fun and lively atmosphere. The food was also on point and added to the overall experience. Definitely a place worth visiting if you want good food, good drinks, and a welcoming environment.
Went on Monday for open comedy night. Never been to one, it was funny. The bartender remembered my drink, even into the next day. (Tequila and club soda) and was friendly. Well decorated for Halloween. Good bar
A must-see bar during the winter months! Butch McGuire's was an amazing midday stop for us while walking around the streets of Chicago. The Christmas decorations made the place stand out and is worth stopping in for just a drink or two or the whole night! We didn't have any food, but the food we saw looked delicious. You can't beat a bar that goes over the top for an amazing atmosphere, and the workers were polite in every way. Highly recommend!
I went here to celebrate my graduation. They didn’t even let me near the door The guy at the door just said “not tonight”, I was only with two of my friends. I don’t know what’s up with them but honestly this bar is not worth it. I’ve never had fun.

Fabulous experience. Great service at the bar. My friend was visiting me from out of town and Butch McGuire’s were awesome. We will b back fr sure.
