Bacci Pizzeria on Taylor Street

We found this place on Google maps. It was within walking distance of our hotel in the Medical center and the ads were inviting so we tried it. The exterior is nice and streets recently renovated, so good first impression. Then we realized we could only order from what was avaliable in the display case, which wasn't a lot for a Saturday lunch time. Custom made stuff would be 45 minutes. So we picked something that looked like thin crust. It turned out to be thick Chicago style after baking. Not my wife's favorite style, but I enjoyed it. Just need to be prepared for that next time. Was hard to understand the person at the counter. Clean facility, plenty of seats. Overall, an OK experience.

This is fast food on the go type pizza. Pizza is already made and cooked just sitting under the food warmer. When you order it they just re-warm back up and serve it. Pizza is decent though but dont expect and 45min wait type of pizza. Almost 10 dollar a slice. The pepperoni slice is just a cheese slice with pepperoni on top none under the cheese.

I’ve NEVER seen a slice of pizza this big ever in my life until now when they say jumbo slices they really do mean it…. The ranch was okay not bad but I like my ranch a little thicker…. 10/10

One of the best slices in Chicago! The jumbo slice is insane and it’s a great deal when you’re hungry or in the mood to share. I love a good Sausage slice but even the desserts here are a good size to enjoy after your slice. As long this place is here I know where I’m getting my pizza.

I had an amazing experience at Bacci! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. A special shout-out to Mago, the cook — he was so sweet and truly talented. You can really taste the love and passion in the food. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and great service!

This restaurant is totally worth the hype! We came into Bacci after a very long day at the hospital. I ordered Sausage & Pepperoni deep dish with Loaded French Fries ( no jalapenos ) FANTASTIC! Absolutely delicious! We were greeted by Jaclyn - she was fantastic as well, wonderful customer service and great personality. She was very kind and welcomed us back the next day after we shared our future plans of being at the hospital again for the next few days! I would recommend this place to anyone who would enjoy a slice with a TON of flavor and plenty of cheese to curb any cravings!

Believe me when I say, the Bacci staff are incredible. I came to Bacci on a bit of an emergency if you can believe it. We were hosting an event for 300+ elementary students from 6 schools across Chicago. As we were packing their lunch at 12:25pm we realized that we did not have enough food. Thinking quickly, I sped to Bacci on Taylor to see if they could help. When I got there, I explained my situation and Rafael and the rest of the Bacci staff sprung into action. In less than 20 minutes they were able to slice and packaged 30+ huge slices. I couldn’t believe it. The best part is that they understood the time crunch I was in and didn’t make me feel like I was a burden. They sympathized and helped me the best they could. We ended up having more food than needed and the kids were able to enjoy second servings of delicious Bacci Pizza. To Rafael and the rest of the Bacci staff, thank you for your help and excellent service.

The food was really good and definitely something I would’ve enjoyed coming back for. Unfortunately, my overall experience was overshadowed by one employee who repeatedly walked past my area and kept looking at me throughout my visit in a way that felt uncomfortable. It happened enough times that it no longer felt accidental. I wasn’t able to relax and enjoy my meal because I felt watched the entire time. Customers should be able to enjoy good food without feeling uncomfortable. I hope management addresses this.
