Art of Modern Dentistry is an immaculate facility , the staff there are quite attentive and mindful of the needs and desires of their patients. I have been to art of Modern dentistry 4 times now for very extensive work on my teeth and every occasion was clean diligent and comfortable, the dentist and D. assistants are thorough in ensuring you as a patient , feel considered and Almost even catered to . Regardless of the extensive work art of modern dentistry is diligent , thorough and timely . The best dentist I’ve been to , and the atmosphere is quite decadent as well!
The Art of Modern Dentistry is a great place! I haven’t gone in a few years and just moved to Chicago and was very nervous about the procedures but everyone was very welcoming and walked me through each step.
My root canal process went very smooth and I was very satisfied with the outcome!
I look forward to coming back for future procedures at this location as it is very close to my home in the city. Thank you!

Made my appointment online as it says my insurance was accepted. Did not inform me until after my visit (routine dental cleaning) that my insurance did not actually cover the entire cleaning and i was left with a hefty bill. My insurance always covers routine cleanings if they are fully accepted. i’m not sure why they failed to mention that to me then order X-rays on top of that. When checking out i was clearly very upset and was told my receptionist that it was my fault and as a “young girl” i needed to be more careful. The lack of price transparency is genuinely disgusting.
I came in concerned about being able to afford a procedure, and Marsha was incredibly kind and helpful, and really listened to what I had to say. I’m very happy with the solution we came to, with help from Toni as well with the idea of a different treatment plan. Overall really appreciative of these two people, they make the long commute worth it :)
They asked me to schedule an appointment and made it seem very urgent that I needed to get it done in Within a week From the last appointment.
To accommodate the urgency, I took half a day off of work and showed up 15 minutes early.
They took me to the back and after about 15 minutes with zero updates I went to the front desk to ask what was going on. I was informed that there was another procedure that was taking more time than needed.
I asked why no one said anything to me and reminded them that they told me it was urgent to get this done and that I took time out of work
and had to get back to work. She apologised and rescheduled me.
The rescheduling isn’t an issue. The issue is that no one gave me an update when I arrived that they were not going to be able to complete my procedure on time. They could have called me to tell me that they were going to be late and not be able to complete this today and I would not have wasted my time coming all the way over to an appointment that wasn’t going to happen.
My first time at the office as a new patient when the doctor viewed my X-rays she made comments like “ughh girl” indicating that I needed a lot of treatment. Which I did need 2 teeth pulled. I was charged $700 for a cleaning. Then the front desk were very useless. Their treatment plan coordinator is non verbal so often times the communication is being mixed up within the office. They took about 2month to get me a pre authorization. I then went else where for a second opinion and didn’t need a pre authorization. Let alone some of the additional treatment that they were recommending. Also, constantly giving me the run around and not being able to answer questions as far as insurance. I wouldn’t recommend them.
