Yeehaw! If you need a bit of the west in the Midwest then come to Alcala’s Western Wear! It’s a HUGE store full of clothes, shoes, and accessories. There are shirts of every color, shoes of every leather, and silver of every sparkle. They even have an artist that can help you design your dream boot and pair some cute socks with it. I was overwhelmed by the options! I’m not a country person but I appreciated the care and stock available. They also put moving boxes out front for free!

Alcala's Western Wear is an excellent destination for men, women, and children alike. Their selection of western wear, including cowboy hats, straw hats, felt hats, and related accessories, is simply unsurpassed in the city of Chicago. The staff are incredibly friendly and very attentive. I recently had my straw hat shaped there, and the service was not only affordable but also remarkably personable, with a truly satisfying end result. I highly recommend visiting this store if you haven't already; it's full of unique curiosities you might not expect to find in Chicago.

I visited this store a couple of months ago and was really impressed with their huge selection of western wear. We ended up buying two pairs of boots and two hats so many great options to choose from! After our trip, my boyfriend noticed a manufacturer defect in his boots. I brought them back to the store, and the management team handled the situation quickly and professionally. They truly went above and beyond to make things right. Bought a pair of boots here and overall had a good experience with the salesperson, who was helpful and offered a $20 discount due to a minor defect. At checkout, the discount was applied after tax instead of before, which slightly reduced the actual savings. When I asked about it, the response was pretty rigid and not very customer friendly. Not a huge deal financially, but it felt like a small miss on customer service. Again no issues other the cashier cold customer service attitude, will likely return for their spring boot sale.

The store is amazing with a wide selection of anything that you need. The people working here are very friendly and knowledgeable. I went in looking for a jacket and came out satisfied. I think I will be going back tomorrow for the other jacket when they say take both they already know that that’s what you want so treat yourself and don’t beat yourself. Go to Alcala’s and you will leave a satisfied customer.
