Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum

An easy break from driving ... hostess was very sweet and have us plenty of information of the museum and suggestions!! We have been driving several hours, so this was a pleasant respite. Small museum didn't take much of our time but it gave us exactly what we needed to take a break. Really enjoyed seeing the old carts from the wagon trail as well as the art on display. They didn't have a small store but it was kind of disappointing to see that most of the materials in the store were made in China. If they were more authentic I would have bought something but that is just me. It did not deviate from the enjoyment however.

Learn about the Cheyenne rodeo and Frontier Day. Small but enjoyable Museum. Chat with the employees who have lived in this area their whole lives. Loved it!

I pinned this museum to my roadtrip must see and I’m glad I did. The staff was very friendly and has alot of unique items at the gift shop. There are alot of cool displays with a lot of historical items and interesting facts.

We only went to the gift shop due to time. We spent about $100 in the gift shop and still weren't allowed to go to the restroom without paying for museum admission. Gift shop staff was very nice and pointed us to the nearest restroom.

Nice museum. A lot of rodeo and Cheyenne information

A very interesting museum. We greatly enjoyed our visit, minus two employees trash talking “stupid democrats” and declaring they weren’t welcome in their state to two other visitors. Not a great look…

Very friendly staff. I felt like I was stepping back in time with the old carriages and artifacts. Great gift shop. We learned a lot about the rodeo culture here and how important Frontier Days is to this town. Great stop while we were visiting Wyoming.

If your ever in Cheyenne, WY check out the Frontier Museum. It has the largest collection of carriages and buggies in the world. Wow so much to see there. Incredible collection of frontier artifacts. It takes at least two hours to see..but could easily spend more time there.
